I just plugged it in and filmed the Union Pacific Big Boy locomotive and the wound will send chills down your spine. Free of distortion or camera noise. awesome mic for the price!

I used this mike several times for videos with my D750. It is not stereo but the directional characteristic was very useful in some situations. I left with the dead cat on it in an open box in my office and my dog (goberianblue) found it and destroyed it. Since it is made of plastic I mostly found small chewed up pieces. The deat cat survived and looks like it will be just fin after washing to remove the dried dog slobber.

Mic sounds okay and is easy to use with DSLRs but it is not shielded for use with a mobile phone while using wifi or cell.
