It has great sound quality for it's price. And a good sound range. Couldn't complain about it.

This mic is very good.It is easy to use and can make you look and sound more professional. However the hiss and the noise takes away the hype. This mic is great and looks awesome!

The sole reason for purchasing this mic was to be used with a Canon 60D in an attempt to get usable sound with an on-board mic. In most cases I would go with a separate recorder but it would be nice to have the option of a simpler setup. This mic was not the answer. It may be fine in other applications, I didn't test it any other way, but with the 60D, the audio was unusable. At 6 feet away, the audio was very weak and mostly covered in a constant hiss. I even tried to import into Audition to capture a noise print and filter it out, but there just wasn't enough of a good signal there to work with. If you are planning to use this in another way, it may work great. But if you are hoping to be able to use this for anything where audio is important... this won't work with a DSLR. Very disappointed, and still looking. ... More

I used this product and notice no real difference in the quality using the external mic vs. using the camera built in mic. At $...for my use...it's not worth the dollars.
