You get what you pay for. It's so portable convenient in every way, but it takes in a lot of ambient sound and hiss. Takes a lot of work in post to clean it up, and you can almost get away with it. But I wouldn't use it on a serious project.

Have used it for one broadcast since purchase and the results were very good - audio quality high. Only struggle was how to guide the cord through the microphone area to relieve the tension on it.

I absolutely love this mic. In fact, I have 3 - enough so every actor I have can use one in a scene. The audio is so clear, and you get almost no noise. The app is easy to use as well. I highly recommend.

Purchased this lav to work in tandem with the native recorder on smart phones for some field video shoots. Nice little mic, works well, sound quality is perfect for our purposes. Decent range with more bass than I was expecting.

This is a good microphone for the money. Depending on what you are going to use it for, be aware that the cord is a bit short. I ended up returning it for this reason, since I'm going to be using it to record myself instructing fitness videos and need to be able to move around a lot.

It works well with mobile devices but does not work with my zoom h6 even with the little adaptor. With the adaptor it does work with my Sony digital recorder.

I bought this for Zoom hearings because my computer microphone made me sound distant. I had an initial problem connecting to my iMac because it recognized it as an output device rather than an input speaker. Rode customer service helped by directing me to get a Trond USB-A adapter.

Although, you most definitely get what you paid for, some eq-ing post goes a long way to make this mic sound really good! Kinda sad that I would need to get an adapter set to hook this up to my h4n, but that's okay!

We love this mic! It has taken our iPhone video production to a whole other level. We now consider iPhone video a legitimate capture device in our organization because of how well this mic works and the positive transformation it has done with our videos.

You would think that this mic would work well with the iOS voice recorder app, The Garage Band app, or when connected to the Zoom H1 Ultra-Portable Recorder, but it does not. I haven't purchased the $6 app that is required to use this mic with an iPhone, and I'm not sure about its compatibility with Android, but the works with many apps claim is completely inaccurate.

Made a big difference in audio quality. For the price, this works great and the difference is quite noticeable. I purchased two of these. One which plugs into IPhone 11 Pro Max for video and the other plugs into IPad Pro for teleprompter Prompt Smart Pro.
