The last wireless mic system I had was the old Audio Technica U100 series. Hated using them due to that hissing sound you'd get. Bought the RodeLink for a documentary shoot and I can't get over how great they sound. Clear audio that compares to my Sanken COS-11D plugged directly into my Zoom H5. Used them for a shoot in Spain without even having to make any adjustments, just turned them on and started recording. These things are terrific AND at a terrific price. Nuff said.

Really works extremely well! It's very well built, doesn't feel cheap. The sound quality is excellent. Setup is easy. The only negatives I have are that the user guide could be better, and it is pricey, but it does deliver!!!!! I made an email inquiry to Rode tech support and rec'd a quick reply back which was excellent. I love it!

I would give it a full 5 stars, but they are a bit big. I could totally see this being a problem to hide on talent. Good for interviews, documentary-based projects, etc. It could work for narrative, you just have to plan your shots accordingly. But overall, I can't complain about the versatility. Just make a slimmer version Rode...please and thank you.

I have used all types of LAV's over the years and the RodeLink is by far my favorite. Very simple setup to link the receiver. Have never had any interference at all. Good crisp audio. I have two for my work right now and has been top notch. Only negative is the spring inside them for the battery. Read the instructions and do not remove the battery the wrong way. I do wish they would have made that a bit better!

This is my 2nd Filmmaker kit. I had been pairing my original with another more expensive wireless system, but I determined I liked the sound and ease of use of the Filmmaker kit better so I bought another. Clear audio, no RF interference worries, and long battery life make these a winner.

I bought this in anticipation of an upcoming video shoot for an instructional video. The RodeLink did NOT disappoint. I had 3 different mics recording (Rode shot gun and Zoom H6) and the RodeLink was by far the superior track. I'm really happy with the product and recommend it.

I was going to go with Sennheiser, but why pay double the price? The RODElink floored me with its performance. I'll be purchasing my second soon.

I have now been using the Rodelink Filmmaker Kit for about four years, and still love it. I particularly use it with a Nikon D750, and the sound is exquisite. As to be expected, I up the gain on the Rodelink transmitter, and keep the setting on the camera low, at 4. The system works beautifully, and I have absolutely no regrets on using this as my preferred Video+Audio arrangement.

Brand new out of the box and no more than 20 seconds after power up and the signal between the transmitter and receiver is dropped. I researched the issue and found others who complained about this same problem, but nowhere did I find a solution. Unless you have $400 you can gamble with, I'd bypass this filmmaker kit.

The product is simple to use. Unfortunately, the build quality is pretty bad. The actual mic is incredibly thin and cheap, and both the transmitter and receiver are made out of a cheap plastic material. To top it all off, within the first 3 months, my receiver started randomly shutting off in the middle of recording, and now it won't even turn on. I'm very disappointed in this product.

We've used this system on a couple of outdoors shoots and have been very happy with the amazing sound quality out of the box and ease of use. The receiver connects to the mic almost automatically. I haven't noticed any kind of system noise or transmission issues so far! Great product at a great price!

We purchased this setup for our run-n-gun DSLR camera for missions trips. This wireless kit is used primarily for interviews. The sound quality is great. You may need to turn down your sound recording level on the camera body. There are no interference issues typically found with other wireless kits. We also purchased Rode's TRS to TRRS cable to use with smartphones. Works flawlessly.

So far I've had zero issues with mine. There's a lot of reviews that say the mic system has issues with the cord but I haven't experienced any issue yet... then again I've only used it for 6 interviews in pretty good conditions but overall I think it's a very affordable pick for a wireless mic system.

I've used the Rodelink a couple of times in a medical unit filming around (but not too close!) an MRI machine with a Canon 5D MKIII and a Canon XC10. Good clean audio, no interference with no fuss. It works straight out of the box. It's a little bulky but the fact it doesn't have breakable antennas is a plus. Great value at this price.

.. and I love them!!! This is the solution I needed. I wanted something reliable, with good audio quality (very happy with the sound), it's easy to use, and it's affordable for us beginner film makers.. I hooked the filmmaker kits up to my zoom h4npro, and it sounds amazing. Strongly recommend this kit, can't beat it for the price.

I had already bought one of these years ago and it has been awesome. I needed a second so I bought from B&H because it had the best price. I added the case this time and I think it's totally worth it. If you're considering it, just go for it.

I was a little skeptical of the quality because of it's price. That didn't last long. The range of this kit is crazy. Not that I would ever do it but i could film someone from way more that 200 yards away and not run into any issues.
