Best dynamic mic you can by for the price. Built like a tank. It needs a lot of gain but not more than any decent interface or mixer can handle. The only downside is the internal shockount which isn't very effective at all.

Its a decent microphone for the price. Definitely not good for recording adr (voiceover), I tested the microphone for adr and I ended up using my Sony boom microphone instead. It's built solid and heavy, I recommend for podcasts or YouTube videos.

Overall the mic is really great, and is an upgrade from most of the cheaper dynamic mics out there. The only downside is that the internal pop filter, while working a bit, doesn't remove all of the plosives. I ended up putting a cheap wind screen over the top and that seems to have fixed the issue.

As most reviews go with this microphone, it is as good as its reputation. Solid construction, easy to use with the Rodecater Pro and other interfaces as well. Reasonably priced and definitely worth what you pay for!

This thing is a hefty mic and feels super well built. The sound from it is very pleasant with my deeper voice and using the default PodMic setting on my Rodecaster Pro. I would highly recommend a pop filter or something similar to help with plosives if you plan on talking straight into the mic.

Bought this in pair with GOXLR and so far i love it mine did come a bit dusty in the box but the void stickers were still intact so not sure how it got so dirty. Thats my only complaint, not sure if it was BH's end or Rodes but either way still works.

This mic is amazing and the best by far for the price. I have quite a few RDE Procasters and I bought a few of these for a mobile podcast set up and i have been thrilled with the sound.

I haven't had the opportunity to put this thing through its paces yet, but I've plugged it in to see if it works and it seems to be working quite well. I love the form factor and build quality, but the biggest draw to this was the price. I look forward to having a chance to run my own battery of tests against my other mics. I've seen and read the reviews, we shall see how things go in my world!

Impressive build quality and great sound characteristics. And it's NOT made in China! Very pleased overall. I paired it with a foam-lined case to keep it safe, the sE Dynamite, and the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2.

Running it straight into a focusrite scarlett 2i2 and get plenty of gain. Low enough noise floor that I haven't encoutered it yet. It's definetly made it easier to work from home. Very little room noise makes it to my calls.

Incredible value for the money. I paired it with a cloud lifter to raise the output. Not as detailed as a condenser mic. That said, this mic focuses on capturing voice in a pleasing way. Sometimes condenser mics pick up everything such as mouth sounds and room tones that you don't want.

This microphone is solidly built and nicely designed. For the price it delivers great sound that can be made even better with some tweaking in post. Its built-in pop filter isn't a substitute for a separate, dedicated filter, but it delivers decent results on its own. Very happy with it so far.

I started my podcast journey a year ago and felt the need to upgrade my gear. I'm kicking myself for not purchasing these mics a year ago! They produce great sound and work especially well with my new RDECaster Pro! Never turning back.

My current setup connects this mic to my MacBook Pro using an XLR to USB-C cable. This cable only provides 35 dB of gain; so audibility is accomplished via software gain, not a great solution, but a good start. I'm now shopping for an Thunderbolt 3/USB-C Audio Interface!
