Not sure why but we haven't had much luck reducing a continuous hum from this mic in shooting quiet environments. We've plugged in directly into the camera mic input as well as XLR into our Beachtek mixer and both have produced similar results. Shooting outdoors is reduced but not by much. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Same complaint as everyone else with no power switch or light letting you know its on when not using it in phantom mode.
