I use this mic primarily for vocals. So far it's performance has been wonderful. Very rich and full sounding audio and the included mount and pop filter are incredibly high quality. It also has very little self noise. I would highly recommend this mic.

The Rode NT1 and NT1-A are different microphones. If you want a flat, dry response, go with the NT1. If you want a little boost in the highs, get the more popular NT1-A. These are excellent for the price.

Honestly I've been looking and waiting to find a good bundle to buy a mic and all the things needed to help me start putting my music on social media and the internet and this has been the MOST AMAZING deal ever. The Mic is MAGIC, interface and earphones easy to use and great sound quality, and everything feels like it belongs together. Can't wait to buy more from BH and REVIEW MORE ! expect tags on social media, @i.ariannah Thank you sooo much!

This was the first ever recording mic I purchased, and I purchased it based solely on price and the positive reviews it got. I knew very little about recording vocals, but this mic made it easy. The sound quality is phenomenal, and needs very little EQing. I used to spend a ton of money recording vocals in a recording studio, and now I can do everything at home, and get the same quality.

I spent months watching reviews on YouTube in order to choose the best mic for my budget. Overwhelmingly this mic came up in many discussions. I tried the NT1a and that mic sounded very good but was a tad harsh on the upper mid range. The next step up was the NT-1 it definitely was the icing on the cake for me. Extremely quiet mic and very smooth and natural sound. I own the Aston Origin and now this mic and I'm very pleased with both but the Rode NT1 is definitely my new go to mic.

I love the mic and the Audio interface, but the rest of the kit is poor quality. The headphones lost connection in one ear after 5 months and the stand is too flimsy to hold the weight of the mic. You can crank down the locking mechanism with all your mic and it still can't support the mic even with a counter weight added to the back. I usually trust the quality of things I buy on B&H, but I am frankly surprised that this kit met the quality standard.

I love this! The price for the value of what you get is amazing. I'm using my Rode NT-1 mostly for voice over and podcasting and it sounds great for both! It's also a super quiet microphone. There's absolutely no hiss at all! The only thing I don't love about this kit are the headphones. They sound amazing. High quality sound...they're just not super comfortable to wear. They start to hurt after a while. But for editing purposes they work great.

This is a surprisingly great vocal mic for the dollars. It works great for guitars and I use it for an overhead for Drums. Balanced with warmth and clarity stick it into a great pre and/or compressor and have fun.

The kit arrived in good condition. The products are great, and I even had a good experience with Support when I had to call for help with something I didn't understand. I'll buy again from B&H.

After tons of research, I decided on the Rode NT-1 mic. Originally ordered the complete kit from another major supplier - but when I realized it would take a month+ to arrive, I cancelled and ordered from B&H. Got it within a week. Now I'm using and loving my amazing Rode gear!

I purchased the Rode NT-1 Kit, unaware it would come with a pop filter. So I purchased a pop filter elsewhere, to find that the pop filter that comes with the microphone is incredible! Extremely happy with purchase, only thing that was a downer is that I bought this with a reflection filter, and neither products came with clear instructions on first time use. ( Some assembly required )

This mic has a ton of high end that can be cut to suit just about anything. When it comes to EQ I would rather cut than add. I can't see myself ever having to add high end to this mic.

I use the NT1 for amateur recording on my computer. The sound is equivalent to mics found in professional recording studios. By registering online Rhode extended the warranty to Ten Years. The included windscreen and shock mount are very good quality.

This is an amazing bundle from Rode! It has everything for a novice [myself] to get started with a semi-professional setup [simply because I am new at this]. Love the setup so far. Just waiting for the arm to arrive so I can mount it for any ergonomic setup.

In this age of home-office teleconferencing high audio quality is a must. This system delivers awesome audio for a reasonable cost. I am also using it for video voice-over work and podcast production and I could not be more satisfied.

It worked right out of the box (after I figured out that the left dial was also an on off button) and I sound much better than I did. Bring it on! Then my musical child needed to record something and I have the equipment to do so. Really solid and nicely done. Her guitar teacher is jelly.

Purchased for commercial VO work. Mic is very good. Solid stand. Cords are good. The reflection filter is a bit wobbly but it's not meant to be swung around the room
