I was recommended this mic by my producer friend, who would always tell me the one I was using for vocals was okay but sounded unprofessional, even after setting up acoustic foam in my recording space. This mic has made a huge difference in the quality of my music, I think it's worth the price and definitely gives you your money's worth.

Wrote in a previous review that this pack comes with a table stand, which it DOES NOT. My bad. I think this guy just comes with the microphone shock mount and pop filter, both of which work perfectly well!

I am used to recording with a sm58 and a blue encore 300, but this is on another level. Things come out so brutally honest that it makes me feel better about getting it. I was looking for something that would translate well and give a rather uncolored sound when compared to the mics I own. I am blown away by how much more sensitive it is.

This microphone sounds absolutely amazing and I am glad that I put a little extra money aside for it. The fact that it comes with the shock mount, an XLR cable that's about 20 feet, and a small pop filter are just icing on the cake. Sounds great, records great, and is well worth the money in my opinion.

Bought this mic for our high school recording studio. No complaints whatsoever. Comes with everything you need for high-quality, studio-like recordings.

Great mic for the price.Sounds better than some of the ones in my cabinet that's twice it's price.Very clean sound, can get sibilant at around 4k but you can fix that with de esser before you send to tape.Currently using it to do voice overs.Sounds great through my presonus studio channel.Every serious home studio should have one of these .

What more can be said about the Rode NT1-A? This is my third one, very warm and balanced! I use it for everything, vocals, acoustic guitars, room ambience, even guitar cabinets sometimes. There's good reason why this is one of the most popular, reasonably priced microphones out there! Add one to your collection now, you won't be disappointed!

These baby's are so quiet and there's a warmth in them that should cost way more. I did a blind test on a harp with one of these and a mic costing twice the amount (a Lewitt) and the artist preferred the sound of the Rode. It's become my go to for small vocal jobs and instrument micing.

I bought this microphone to replace one that came with a Steinberg audio interface. This Rode mic is much more responsive and has a clarity and transparency that astounds me. Vocals come alive in a way that I hadn't expected - I feel like I need less in the way of processing after the fact. This get it right at the source!

I expected quality from Rhode, but I didn't expect such excellence in a mic with a price range so far below the competitors. I will definitely continue with such a rewarding company.

I use the mic in a home based professional recording studio. Additionally I found the tech support excellent from a trained professional who knows the business and speak and understands english although with an Aussie accent which I won't hold against him lol, lol, lol

The RODE NT1-A is my first purchase of a professional-grade large-diaphragm condenser microphone and couldn't be happier. It simply does a great job of accurately recording the source in front of it. Quiet, noise-free output.

This mic blew me away. The price was good too. I got it cheaper than the listed price. Maybe looking for another one soon. The only drawback is that customs charged me almost the price of the item. But hey it was worth it !!

Research many mic as I am a Voice Over Actor and found the R0DE to be a great price and works great for my voice.

Ok not great, the good news is very low noise and very sensitive. The bad news is that it picks up sounds not intended, and requires EQ to get the best out of it.not the worst and not the best. S and Ps are veary apernt and like a ice pick to your head. However if on a budget this mic will give good results if used on the rite application.

I've been using this mic for a few weeks now to record Voice Overs for commercial and documentary work. It was relatively easy to set up and hasn't taken long for me to get comfortable with. It dramitically improved the quality and professionalism of my VOs.

About 3 years ago I purchase two Rode NT1A from B&H. All this time I use them many, many times and I'm very pleased with sound/mic quality. You can't go wrong with this mic.
