the charge 4 puts out very decent levels of volume.. I still feel the marshall Kilburn II wound have been the better choice, tho the difference in price was substantial .. Plus I already owned the flip 4 and the charge 4 could link with the other jbl I had.. Overall it is pretty good..

Looked at a couple of different brands, saw other reviews expressing the great sound. I agree. Easy to connect, the charge holds very well, only have charged once since received. Solid construction, and with B and H's excellent service I am very happy with this purchase. I may order another for two locations that i would use this in. Great purchase, sound unheard and took a chance.

Heavy Breakup in Signal

When listening to music or anything via the Charge 4, there will be a breakup of signal... By breakup, I'm not stating a disconnect from Bluetooth. It's a more of a bad connection e.g. from a Microphone to the Console or from the Console to Speakers; where there's static sounding / faulty wiring.

I’m pleased with this speaker. It really does play for twelve hours after a four hour charge. I haven’t noticed any reduction in volume as the charge is used up - it just goes off. The sound quality is good for the price and size of the speaker, and you can play it at high volume for hours. I had no problems connecting my devices - it was easy and uncomplicated.

Sound quality - very powerful portable speaker with great bass. Sound could be a little more crisp at higher volumes. Design - very nice looking. Some may feel it’s a little large for travel but it’s worth it for the powerful bass. Ease of use - very easy to setup within seconds using Bluetooth. Quick start guide to assist but can easily be figured out.

I was a bit struggling to choose between this and charge 3,but now I’m very happy that I was choosing charge 4 cause is sound more clear and is very useful. If you like a bit louder then choose carve 3.

I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker and found the JBL Charge 4 on sale. The online reviews were all great, so I grabbed one. Excellent sound all the way around. You can charge your phone with it too. When I saw it was on sale again, I picked up another one. The JBL connection app links both speakers together. They can also be played in stereo. (5 stars and 2 thumbs up!)

Bought this after Beats Bill died. Great product, great sound and has a Aux cord which many speakers on the market don;t have. A little on the larger side, although worth it for the sound quality and volume.

I was trying to make up my mind between a couple of different bluetooth speakers and asked friends for recommendations. The JBL speaker got the highest rating amongst my friends. So I bought one and am not disappointed. The quality of the sound is rich and full. All that I wanted. So glad I chose JBL!

It plays loud and sounds good, for what it is. Pairs quickly and easily with my Apple devices, and works fine with the JBL controller app on iPad and iPhone. It's a delight to carry around and place wherever you have a small patch of flat space to put it on. Battery seems to have good endurance. Well made, well engineered

We got this to use in place of a Charge 3, which is now in our bedroom. I'm sure there are better speakers, if I'm willing to spend money I don't have. However, this is exactly, precisely, what we wanted in a speaker. And the teal is cool, too.

This little speaker sounds as tight as the charge 2+ which was a great product but it has better bass extension and goes louder for longer. It charges fast and will last a while day played at a good volume. Basically its excellent.

This thing is especially great for summertime, by the pool and beach. You can bring it along anywhere and it's waterproof. Connects easily...no frustrating episodes. Battery Charge last long as well. Great product overall and snagged it at a great price when B and H was having a deal.

I'm very pleased with the JBL Charge 4. My brother has the Charge 3 and recommended it, but it wasn't available (new) anymore, so I have the 4 for a little more money. I haven't compared them side by side, but they both sound great. When it says waterproof, it actually floats too!

Christmas gift for my wife, she uses it all the time and loves it. Its durable, long battery life and great sound...she spent a lot of time researching and wanted this speaker specifically and is very pleased with it.

I have the two smaller ones and I grabbed these for the backyard. I love them! They're water proof (I've floated the river many times and dunked them and they just keep playing) so having them outside is not an issue. They're loud, clear and do not cost an arm and a leg. Well worth it IMO.

I carry this with me to go to homes that I teach piano in. It goes in my bag and use it for what I call danceathon and find the beat! I play Earth Wind and Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder and we dance away while we count to the beat! I love it. The color is beautiful.
