For those who record with a cardioid mic this is a light-weight, easy to use, transportable interface that will make you glad to have it and it's easy to store. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Not much of a learning curve. Works seamlessly with Logic Pro X. It does not drain the battery on my mac very much, even with phantom power on. Incredibly easy to use. i Love it!

So far so good... except that the larger of the two mics does not attach to the tripod so I think you have to buy something different to use it which is a bit of a bummer.

I was really happy that the Scarlett is powered by USB. So fewer power cables. The device works super well with my Yamaha HS7's. Clean clear and easy to control.
