Great for anyone that is starting to record. Basic set up. Good quality for the price. Would recommend buying full version of abelton or pro tools to accompany set up.

If you're new to podcasting and you need a 2 person setup, this is a good option paired with 2 dynamic mics. Since you can record in separate tracks, this will make your editing workflow much easier and be able to release your podcast much faster.

Recently purchased to start home recording of guitar, keyboards, and vocals. Perfect beginner gear. Easy to set up, does everything it says it will flawlessly. Remember that it has no MIDI inputs/outputs but the 4i4 does - which will be my next purchase.

I recently added the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to my studio and I love it! It's simple to use and surprisingly durable yet extremely portable. The preamps sound really clean and make vocals sound nice and crisp. Overall, a fantastic product I'm glad I purchased.

Only wish I purchased this audio interface prior to the 48 volt phantom power unit I bought to power my condenser microphone. The Scarlet 2i2 connects easily to my Mac via USB and I love how it's powered by the Mac itself.

I used this to record my albums. Im made about 15 albums within a year and a half and now the audio is gong in and out really loud. this is aggravating especially when making a song or listening to music. I dont know why this is doing it, should have gotten the extended warranty, Id have a new one right now but. Didn't so I might buy another one and get the warrantee.

Used for home recording with a macbook pro. Very easy to use, and it sounds fantastic - especially for the price. It would be nice if the box itself had an off switch.

I was recording podcasts and having to route audio to multiple places which was a pain. This device lets me send my clean dynamic mic audio to my Zoom call while simultaneously recording to Audacity. Just what I needed.

Bought this unit to accept multiple audio inputs into a laptop in support of video conferencing. It works like a charm. The attached photo shows a condenser boundary mic to pick-up conference table audio and a single channel Wireless GO II input for the presenter.

The device built amazingly! All the buttons are very conveniently placed. Easy to follow installation and setup. Focusrite youtube channel contains videos with instructions on how to set it up in different DAWs. The set of complementary plugins is awesome!

I've considered purchasing an interface for several years but didn't have the time. Working from home has provided an opportunity to delve into at-home recording. The option to connect either mics or instruments was a big factor in choosing this particular model.

This is my second unit, 1st gen was the 1st. Just like gen 1, it's reliable and quiet but now with added bonus features such as air and the Focusrite control. Compared to other interfaces I've used, I like this for the ease of use, connectivity and reliability. The best just keeps getting better.

I used a 15 year old audio interface and then bought this. I didn't expect this jump. Now I can record high volume amplifiers, a lot less noise and more flexibility. Macbook and ipad recognized without any need for additional software. Great product at a low price.

I ended up spending $300 and a couple of weeks to diagnose and repair my windows PC after installing the scarlett software and having a fatal crash. It created a BSOD/start up loop that was not self repairing after the interface was removed from the computer. Upon research, this is a known problem with the software for this interface. I returned the unit and will purchase something else.

I use the 2i2 to interface to my MacPro for XLR input audio recording and pass through to my JBL mix monitors.

This is a solid built little equipment that does the huge job. I have tried two sets of condenser microphones - large and small diaphragm sets - and both worked well. Affordable low noise audio interface is the main reason I purchased this and didn't regret this investment.
