$30 for an interface, well, you get what you pay for. I let my computer automatically install the drivers and it works pretty good, but there is terrible floor noise, and it even carries over into recording. Direct monitoring doesn't fix it. Searched around and I found some other drivers that reduces it some but I can only listen out of one side of my earphones or the other. Never both. It's cheap, and actually delivers pretty good drive if you are looking for that overdrive distortion, but the higher you crank it, the worse the noise. First interface I bought, and I don't think I'm going back to Beheringer. ... More

This interface has everything I need for recording scratch narration in my edit suite: 48V phantom power, a decently quiet preamp, and live monitoring with negligible latency. My only complaint is that the ASIO driver conflicts with all my other apps, so I can't even listen to the audio I record with this setup, until I unplug it, which then releases the driver and allows my editing software to work again. But yeah, it works; it's cheap; I'd buy it again.

I am a beginner at recording audiobooks and needed something that would get the job done and not make my head explode with complicated settings. The Behringer UM2 is perfect! I was able to get it set up and running very quickly. I did have to get a 1/4" adaptor for my headset, but other than that, it was really easy to start recording!

This interface has saved my life during this quarantine. As a musician, it is imperative for me to have the proper tools to record my music whenever I feel inspired. If you're on a budget, and are looking for a great interface, then the Behringer UM2 is for you! I also have to mention that no other online retailer, including Amazon, had this item on stock, except B&H! To say that I am super satisfied is an understatement. Thank you, B&H!

Use it for playing guitar through PC and for karaoke also. Excellent value! Great sound quality - zero latency. One thing I am still struggling with - is to play guitar while listening to a backing track on YouTube. There's some sort of conflict over ASIO sound driver. This is a problem for all audio interfaces on Windows, not this specific one. Just mention that you know. Bottom line: great product!

I needed this as a monitoring device in use with my headphones when DJ'ing. Literally plug n play. Does exactly what I need it to do. I did do some research beforehand and many sites were saying that the ASIO drivers were needed for this interface to function properly, so I went ahead and downloaded those first before plugging this in. Simple Google search for driver download.

I'm using it for some home recording. The product has a little noise, but it is expected for its price.

I bought this because I needed a cheap xlr interface. It does the job but is otherwise unexceptional. The construction is all plastic, but it is hard to beat it at such a low price. I probably would have gone one tier up if I could afford it though.

this is horrible, they dont have the drivers for Windows 10 on the site and running your guitar inot the device and into the BIAS amp software is full of latency. now, recording guitar from your amp head into it and into your pc/laptop, it works pretty good, just dont throw the gain on it to full, its not a volume (kinda is)

This thing made a good mike sound like it was inside a garbage can. It has a terrible sound and does not seem even worth this low price. I have had fairly good equipment made by this mfg, but this is not a good choice. I would advise anyone to not buy this. Save your money and buy a better quality unti.

I bought this to use for my home setup, and everything on the interface I purchased works absolutely great. I only use line one, but I am confident that everything is fully functional. This item delivered quick, and it even came with the protective wrapping still on the front. Next time I need to look for something, this will be one of my first stops.

This is everything I expect from the Behringer experience. If you have very little space and need a promising product, then you can't go wrong with this thing. I have even used a USB-C adapter to use it to record into my Google Pixel 4. There might be better interfaces out there but you will not find one better at this price.

Did somebody use this audio interface before you sold it to me because when I put my headphones in i can barely hear the.beat which makes me believe that some thing is wrong with this interface

It was plug and play for both my PC (Windows 10) and Mac (macOS Mojave). Both machines recognized the USB interface and I was able to use my AudioTechnica BPHS1 to record locally on my machine and Skype simultaneously for an audio podcast. Audio came out great.

Works very well and can handle 1x xlr 2x 3.5mm jacks 1 in and 1 out and the output for headphones is fantastic, you can get really loud with this too using a 48v mic i run mine with the gain bottomed out under normal circumstances so keep that in mind. Overall experience is 10/10

Am very happy with this, got it at a good price, it sounds great and works very well as a simple audio interface. I'm sure in time I will upgrade to more ports, but I'd probably stick with Behringer. Seems like a great price point for a solid, affordable, yet simple product.

I’m impressed with the sound and the lack of significant latency on the UM2. The guitar input doesn’t easily overload, as it does on most inexpensive interfaces and mixers. Only complaint is that I wish they’d use a more modern connection than a USB-A, as that’s getting to be obsolete.

This is truly the cheapest of the cheap, and it will get you by if you virtually cannot afford anything else. If you can spend a bit more, I highly recommend the Scarlett Solo, it will last much longer and provide better quality sound.
