Replacing the pre I use for on-the-road voiceovers. UM2 is lightweight and plugs into USB not the mic input on my laptop giving me better headroom. Headphone gain isn't loud but is acceptable. Plus, not that I'll use it for VO's but I got a free Tracktion 5 software download with the pre....like getting the pre for free!

This is a great interface if your just talking or like some sort of a broadcast.

XLR connection for the mic-in is a bit stiff and feels like Im going to break something getting it in. Otherwise, great interface. Using it as a mic gain and phantom power for my condenser mic (twitch streaming, voice chat) as well as a DAC for my headphones.

Worked for a day then LOUD cracking static haunted it. Changed cables. Changed computers. Same deal. Behringer tech support took two days, gave no suggestions other than to return it. Lost time on my project. My bad for being penny-wise, pound foolish. Solved it by spending more money on a more reliable product. Waisted time my time with added hassle for an inferior product. Shame on Behringer for making this. Shame on retailers who sells this.

The thing seems to only work when it wants to, 10 percent of the time or so. When it doesn't, it'll just sit there blinking..taunting you. If you're a reasonable guy like me, you'll probably wanna throw it out the window..and no one would blame you for it. The sound quality through the headphones is godawful too. cheap price, cheaper quality.

This does not come with any of the necessary cables to operate the interface. DO NOT BUY. buy something thats higher quality that actually comes with everything to make the device work. I only bought this because I'm strapped for money and needed an interface to run a measurment mic through for a class.

Do not waste your money on this product. One day it was working, the next day, it wasn't. I exchanged it for the same interface, and thought it would be working like new. God, do I regret that decision. Refunding this very soon.

Extremely noisy. It surely must be broken. I'll be returning.
