Very good sound quality, up from my old AirPods 2nd gen. Definitely worth the upgrade if you’re coming from an old pair of baseline AirPods. The noise cancelling is really impressive; you cannot hear anything when this is activated and this is no exaggeration; so it is perfect for noisy environments. Then there is the opposite, Transparency mode, which does a great job at lifting sounds around you to feel as though you aren’t wearing earphones and hear everything clearly. These AirPods are trackable on FindMy, with precision finding when you are closer to the AirPods. The additional speaker on the case allows you to play a sound to help find it more easily. If you already have an Apple Watch, you can use your watch charger to charge the AirPods. Alternatively, you can use a lightning cable. All in all, a very good purchase. I recommend to anyone who owns a pair of AirPods (1st or 2nd gen). If you already have AirPods Pro 1st gen, it’s just a few convenience features that stand out really, however the sound quality is slightly better, but I’m not sure if it’s worth an upgrade to you. ... Bought these as a treat for myself and very happy with them. The sound quality is outstanding, the different type of noise cancellation settings are great and can meet different needs at different times. I really like the smart technology of them too, for instance when you remove one AirPod it can pause what you’re listening to and starts again when re inserted. The touch controls are good too, still learning how to use them at the moment though! But so far have had no issues with these not working. Such an easy set up, took seconds and you can manage the settings and battery level from your iPhone - even has individual AirPod battery levels when you remove them from the case. I like the idea of being notified if you have left these at a location also, you can exclude certain locations like your home. I've owned AirPods Pro 1st Generation since they launched in 2019 and used them nearly daily without much hassle, (I did change to silicone tips) however the battery was causing some issues and I decided to upgrade. For the price I expected the AirPods Pro 2nd Generation to be a huge improvement on the 1st Gen but that was not my experience. The 1st & 2nd Gen versions stem controls are nearly identical although they did include volume control on the new 2nd Gen version which is a definite plus. However, on using my new 2nd Gen earbuds I found the audio randomly went out of sync when watching films and experienced audio bleed between the earbuds mainly from the right to the left, and on a couple of occasions the audio volume changed without any help from me ! Having Googled these issues I found I'm not the only one to have experienced this and many are waiting for Apple to provide a patch to correct the issues. You know I'm glad I held out for these ear buds legit they may be the last ear buds I ever own gosh forbid anything happens to them. I got a free pair of air pods 1 when I bought my iMac in 2020 when the pandemic started. In regards to call quality for earbuds you can't beat air pods so i held off on buying the air pods pro because didn't see the need to upgrade. The ANC, sound quality, and new FIND MY feature are amazing. No more losing your case with 0 ability to find it. The transparency mode is UNREAL. If you ever used Samsung buds before the transparency mode allows you to hear your surroundings but in a very fake, artifacting, robotic sound. These legit feel like you don't have anything in your ear. Spatial audio for music and tv shows I would almost go on record to see these are the PERFECT earbuds nice job apple! ... More

Upgraded from PowerBeats pro, as since 2019, they had been good, but lacked noise reduction technology. On seeing the video on Apple’s site, I thought I’d see if the noise reduction was as good as they said. I was sceptical that something so small could be good. The sound quality blew me away when I first listened to my music on them. Very punchy bass, crisp clarity. I also like how in settings you can do a noise check to ensure you have the right sized ear tip clipped on, for a Good snug fitting. Additionally you can customise the controls for each ear. Stroking the small controls to adjust volume takes some getting used to, but works. The only thing I have found slightly over rated was the head tracking surround feature. I turn this off, you can for customise for each app by long pressing the volume control on your iPhones control centre. I think it only Works well with something advertised with Dolby atmos and maybe if I was watching using Apple TV. Finally charging, magical ! I just pop the case on my watch charger when I’m wearing my watch ! Simples ! ... More

I've been using these for around two weeks and have been very impressed. Sound quality is a vast improvement on Apples earlier pods and reproduction is reasonably flat and accurate across the spectrum - no massive and artificial bass boost. Low mids, mids and highs are smooth and fairly airy, and the level of detail is a real step-up - perfectly acceptable for in-ears and general travel or working environments. I haven't yet mastered the call function, though dictation works well for messages and is good enough for writing into a laptop-based word processor. The design and visuals are strong and the in-ears and case are clearly a part of the brand family - ergonomics are great, though one has to be careful to avoid dropping the pods whilst inserting or removing. The real revelation has been the cancellation - this works extremely well in urban environments. Defeating the function in a domestic or work environment provides a really quite immersive experience - probably more so in surround sound mode (which I've not yet used). Upgraded from the first generation AirPod pro, as although very happy I was keen to have the improved battery life and noise cancellation features. Having used the AirPods for the past few week I’ve been extremely happy with the improved features, and as usual Apple have again created a fantastic product. I’m an avid Apple consumer having a number of devices I use daily. In my opinion Apple products, including these AirPods are second to none. I find the quality, features, design and durability cannot be beaten in todays market. I was a little jubious about spending so much money on a pair of ear buds but needed the ability to pay within 12 months (thank you Argos card) and so pleased I did. These are simply incredible. Once you take them out of the case and put them in your ears the noise cancellation kicks in and the world around you disappears! When I got them out of the box and put them on I literally looked up at my fan in my bedroom as it went silent and my immediate thought was that there was something wrong with it and instinctively looked up and it was still doing its thing. The charging case too is awesome, it has a little speaker on which makes the same sounds as my Apple Watch for low battery and changing. i bought this ruffley a month ago and i am kinda happy with the purchase there loud for sure but i wanted more bass heavy yes bass is good and the clarity of the sound is also good but an option for maybe more bass in settings or something would be nice the noise cancelation is amazing i put them in and cant hear anything at all apart from the music so for gym they are perfect you can really be in the moment but would i say to buy them for 250 yes and no but overall ill give them 4 out of 5 stars ... Recently moved to an IPhone and wanted some seamless earbuds to compliment it. These definitely live up to the hype for me. Noise cancelling second to none. I've put them in on a rowdy bus and blissful silence. Like all noise cancelling they don't totally mute voices but once some music is on I'm in my own little bubble. Music sounds great through them especially the spatial audio. Very comfortable to wear and decent battery life (ie not needing to recharge every day) The little pop up on my Iphone with the battery of pods and case when the case is open is cool too. Also instant connection to bluetooth. Put them in and they're ready. They are a bit pricey but for excellent noise cancelling, sound great and seamless integration with my Iphone I'm so glad I bought them as worth it. ... More

I recently bought these earphones and I don’t regret it at all. Over years of wasting money on cheap earphones that either didn’t fit my ear quite right, broke after a month or the sound quality was extremely poor. These earphones are nothing like that and the noise canceling is perfect for noisy households and they fit super comfortable. They are on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and I would definitely recommend if you use earphones on a regular basis.

I brought the AirPods Pro after loosing my 2nd generation AirPods. I have to say they’re a big step up. Love having the controls on the sides of the ear buds and the sound quality is a lot better. My only issue was, it’s not very clear which connection type these have, both on the box and on the Argos website. I had hoped to buy the USB-C version(I didn’t realise that Apple were keeping a Lightning version along side the USB-C version). I had the very first air pods and loved them. They were the only earphones that have ever stayed in my ears. So when I lost one of them I was gutted and bought these to replace. I should have stuck with the first ones. After paying a price I'm not allowed to say on this review I had to then pay another score for foam tips because they DO NOT stay in my ears. No matter what I do. I have to adjust them so much that my ears end up hurting and I just take them out. Such a waste of money I should I never have bought them. Every time I try to adjust them it stops the music. The sound is amazing, the whole 5 minutes I get to experience before taking them out. The new features are quite cool but the stem is a bit short for the volume control and pinching them just makes them move and FALL OUT. I really hate them. ... More

The Apple Airpods Pro 2 have been much better than expected. I was expecting a good experience at a premium price for an Apple product but I think these actually punch above their price point. The reception is solid at amazing distances and the features that allow the connection to pass between Apple deuces is good if you have more than one device. The microphone quality is reported by people receiving my calls as being clear under most circumstances. The noise cancellation is ok. The fit is ok. The sound quality is more than ok. Battery life and generally living with the AirPods is all positive. For anybody on the fence; these have changed my life. The noise cancelling function is better than it was on the original AirPod pros and the sound quality is definitely improved. That said, if you’re super into music tech then you already know that there are earphones out there that will transform your listening. For me, the succinctness between listening to music to answering calls is paramount and they do not disappoint. Battery life is good, I charge mine every two days or so and it’s incredibly fast. I bought the new AirPods Pro 2 a few weeks ago and have used them quite extensively in those few weeks. Noise cancelling on those are really impressive, as is spacial audio. Sound is really nice with much more bass than previous generation AirPods. There’s a nice haptic feedback with slight sound through your ears when play, pausing, or switching between modes. I find the volume + & - on the stem a bit fiddly but it works well. They’re very light and comfortable and although I don’t run with them in, once they’re in they don’t move at all in my ears. I was reluctant to get these as in-the-ear earphones have difficulty staying in my ears, and I was afraid of losing them. I need not have worried. These Pro version come with 4 sizes of rubber plugs. The default medium was just right for me. The fit is very comfortable and snug, and the sound crystal clear with good bass. I love the little charge box they come with which gives your Air Pods another 2 or 3 full charges on the go. There are three levels of noise cancelling, with the full option amazingly good at cutting out unwanted external noise. I really cannot hear the air conditioning at work running with them. I bought this product nearly a month ago to use during uni, the sound is amazing as well as the noise cancellation. I often use them for long journeys watching a film on the iPad while my 2 toddlers have their iPads playing out loud and I can’t hear theirs at all with them in. The sound quality is very good and the transparency/noise cancellation modes are very helpful, and nice to have. Spatial sound is also very cool and a great feature. Personally I find the touch feature to pause, play, skip songs to be awkward to use and find the headphones uncomfortable after long periods of time, but that may be a mr problem. Overall.
