Sound is great, but mutes sounds in transparent mode if there is an elevated sound in the background. Then it cuts out people talking to you and you have to remove them

I was surprised to find the noise cancelling only worked when I listened to music, not when I wanted it to drown out the sound of my husband's watching TV. I have small ear canals and the smallest rubber ends began to hurt my ears within the hour.
