My favorite drone at a great price!
This is my second Phantom 4 Pro v2 drone. I bought the first one to practice my skills in videography and incorporate it into my Realestate photography business. We are busy enough now that we needed a second one to keep up with the work...along with a second pilot. I was considering an Inspire, but for my purposes, the Phantom performs flawlessly and at the discounted price B&H sells it at, it was a no brainer to stick with what works. When the time comes I wouldnt hesitate to buy again from B&H. Fast shipping, great price and excellent customer service.

A glowing review, and well deserved
First, on the order itself. I shopped Amazon, Crutchfield, DJI direct, and two others. B&H had the lowest price by a considerable margin, plus free expedited shipping. And! It was delivered three days early during the Christmas weekend!!! Outstanding. On to the bird...I already have a fairly high0tech quad but this is a whole new world of sophistication both in flying and in photography. But very complex so be prepared for a steep learning curve.... Show More

Ios...Android.....confusion
Drone seems good, but lots of confusion to apps to run and which platform. Funny how the plus version uses android, but the go 4 app is more user friendly with ios. I have a tab s2 v710 that it can fly with, after messing with settings. With ios it just works. Now, go to another app such as Precision Flight, and ios dont work. Plug the Samsung tab s2 in and it works. Go 4 works smoother on the tab s2 than the ipad 9.7. More memory maybe helps. Sc... Show More

Good drone, but nightmare DJI support and service
Lost my drone 7 months ago because of technical issue. After log analysis Dji support said it was warranty case. Drone was Beijing version, And nightmare began! DJI can not send replacement drone for 7+ months to my dealer. Ive got tons of emails from support about delay because of the holidays, logistic delays, misunderstanding with other departments and etc. DJI have no equal competitors on the market, and they dont need good service and support because if you need a drone u have no choice. You should bye DJI. Be careful and dont lose your drones!

Flys and photos as expected
I have this and a P4P. This is quieter, better range and seems to autofocus better and quicker. Still exploring other improvements, only have about 6 hours on it to date. Very happy so far and as of yet not had any of DJI's firmware issues.

Best Phantom Yet
I've been flying these things professionally for about 6 years now. I've had several Phantoms along the way and currently use an Inspire 2 for most of my work. I have several aerial mapping projects that just didn't make sense to use the I2, so I picked up the P4Pv2. The image quality is very good, as is the flight times. Now that the SDK is released it's become my primary workhorse for mapping projects using Litchi.

Do not buy this drone until there is a new firmware update.
Many users are experiencing a slow yaw while sitting stationary in the air. This is especially troublesome while taking a long exposure photo or video. I bought the P4Pv2 shortly after release and experienced the yaw issue. A few weeks later (July-ish), there was a firmware update (v1.00.1500) to "fix" the issue it did not. My friend recently purchased the same drone as well. Him and I went flying together and I witnessed the issue first han... Show More

Phantom 4 pro version 2
It works as advertised. Setup is goofy, would not connect until I cycled the USB cord to device. Took hours to figure that out. Works great after the first time.

Very Happy
I've never had an issue with this drone. Reliable, smooth flights with a wonderful camera. The color profiles are fantastic and it's a breeze to operate both for fun and on professional shoots. The batteries are a bit expensive.

Photographer not a pilot says AAA+
First drone. 1" sensor. Good glass. Great 20mp photos and 4k 60fps video. Easy to operate. The case that comes with works well for drone and three batteries (2 extra batteries - buy them instead of a case you don't need). The iPad 2018 version 9.7 slides into the remote perfectly and has enough processing power for a very good experience. DJI software as well as Litchi. This setup is comparable in cost to a good lens. If you think of it that way it's a no brainer now that the 4 Pro 2 has a 1" sensor.

Amazing Aerial Imaging Platform
I sent back the Pro+ Version 2.0 because it was not ready for prime time. It had bugs in the firmware for the built in display and a defective Mini SD card reader. Not to worry, I replaced that with this, bought an iPad Mini and not looking back. The 4k video imaging I am getting from this is rock solid, even in breezy conditions, and it is quiet for a quad copter. It is not perfect of course but for the money it is a great investment for th... Show More

Out of factory problems
Well this has been an upgrade for us from the Mavic Pro, and I like flying this one better, however we had one issue. The DJI QC must be lacking because unfortunately we are in the process of returning it and gettting a new one. Drone itself and the camera are great but our problem was with I think what is not properly set fan under the battery compartment. What happens is when you insert the battery you can hear not the standard f... Show More

Great drone with a great camera
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 produces excellent video and still images and is easy to fly. The only downside is that it took a while before DJI released the new DJI SDK with support for the Phantom Pro V2.0 so 3rd party apps like Litchi and DroneDeploy, as of the time I'm writing this review, don't yet support the Phantom Pro V2.0. I did receive an email from the Litchi folks stating they would be releasing an update within the next month to support it now that DJI has included support for the Phantom Pro V2.0 in their SDK.

Love it but a few things you need to know
Great drone but you need to be aware that third party support is not present at the moment due to DJI not releasing updated SDK. This means that if you want to use DroneDeploy, PrecisionFlight etc to do surveying for you then you are out of luck. Short answer if you need to be able to use DroneDeploy or the like right now then get the earlier version.
