Great screen, its the 2nd for me. I'm working in GFX and for me this screen is great. Connecting is very easy, I use macbook pro retina and using the thunderbolt to DVI cable. Great feature is the extra 4 USB.

Great Quality, Great Price
A 24 monitor without breaking you wallet. I have 2 of these Dell monitors, one on a PC and one on a Mac. Both work great in an office setting and the other in a photo studio setting. The colors and contrast are great. Just as good as the Apple 24 I have on another Mac.

Great for two-monitor editing
I bought this monitor for use with my Dell XPS laptop for dual monitor editing using Lightroom. Works great and makes PP in Lr much more accurate. Wish I had added this monitor a year ago. Easy to calibrate using Datacolor Spyder4pro.

Great quality for the price
Just purchased this monitor to add it to a pair of other U2412M's that I've been using for almost two years. These monitors are so much better than the entry-level monitors that are sold at a lower price. Colors are accurate, but using my HUEY RGB calibration tool makes them really shine. UltraSharp is right
Wow! Got this as a monitor for my Dell Latitude 10 tablet when at my desk at work. Feels like IMAX. Crisp... even at the highest res I don't have to enlarge the text or wear reading glasses to see the small print.

Not What I Expected
I thought this monitor would be super sharp with accurate color according to the reviews I read before purchasing but in my opinion it is not. I've tried calibrating, etc... but still need to use my Macbook Pro as a refrence when editing photos. For me this monitor is not working and I will most likely return it and look for another. I gave this 1 star because of it's large size (for watching movies while on the road) and easy set-up.

Great monitor, good price
I bought a pair of these for my MacPro, mainly for use with Final Cut Pro. Wired up using the DisplayPort connector they are super sharp and clear. The bezels are relatively thin which is good with two monitors side by side. The construction quality seems good enough - they don't feel extremely sturdy, but at this price point that is not surprising. These are great monitors!
I use my computer for architectural computer animations. I needed a monitor with high resolution and a decent response time. I researched the internet and was convinced that IPS was the way to go even though I had never owned one before. This monitor is outstanding! Great monitor
I use this product at work with a Retina Display MacBook pro. Bought this is a reasonable alternative to the CinemaDisplay from Apple. Connects with a mini-display port to display port cable thus I don't need any special adapters. Love having the on-monitor USB ports. The picture is excellent with great color and definition. The Matte finish coating has received negative reviews elsewhere, but I am not bothered by this at all. I have no complaints about the prouct at all.

Excellent at a Reasonable Price
My wife and I are photographers and constantly use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. This is our 4th Dell 24 Ultrasharp monitor. We calibrate these with Datacolor's Spyder and set them up with one in portrait mode and one in landscape mode. These monitors function perfectly - each displaying our images very sharp and with accurate colors. We could not be more pleased.

Great addition to my laptop
I used this monitor at a previous job and liked the quality for the price, so purchased it for home. The screen quality is great and seems to calibrate accurately. After trying to edit photos on a Mac Book Pro Retina, I really just wanted more real estate and this was great for executing detailed Photoshop work. Excelent Value!
My old monitor died and I replaced it with the U2412M and am very pleased with both the value and the performance. The colors are excellent. I do photo editing so color is important...no vital. This monitor really performs.

Lightweight! Slightest vibration shakes
Pro: I use it for spreadsheets and retouching and editing photography. Very sharp, good color and no adjustments were necessary. Con: Slightest vibration and the monitor shakes which takes away from the quality of which Dell is noted for. I would have been happy paying half the price for this model. It is just not stable on the support bar.

I would buy this product again and again
I use this monitor mainly for ameture photography photo editing. For the price, this monitor is hands down the best I have ever used. Great color right out of the box. A tad brite but not a retina burnner.. Great buy...

Pretty nice
This screen is not quite what I expected. The screen just does not appear as crisp as it should. Other than that its pretty good. Colors appear spot on, even before calibrating.

Great Monitor
This is my second IPS monitor and I am very pleased. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, ran the Huey Pro calibration and began using it. My old monitor has CFL backlight vs the Dell U2412M. One thing I notice is that my old monitor warmsup for the first 5 min or so, vs the U2412M which appears to be ready to go immediately. I didn't find it necessary to install the CD or make any setting changes to the monitor. The brightness/contrast were set properly right out of the box.

Outstanding Monitor and Best! Buy
First and foremost, for Photoshop work. 5 Stars. For Netfilx and again 5 Stars. The Resolution is superb. Color outstanding. Only negative is that the on-liner user manual is not as useful as it could be, and the info that comes with the monitor will just barely help you set it up. This means that working the color controls at the lower right is a guessing game until you realize what allows you to do what. The 24 screen size is a eyeful! Good buy for the money!

Fantastic monitor! The stand is rock solid. It can be raised up or down easily, and it tilts without needing two people to adjust it. Image is very bright, crisp and pleasing. Highly recommended.
