Azden EX505U Unidirectional Lavalier Microphone with 1/8 (3.5mm) Mini-Jack for Use with Azden Pro Series Bodypack Transmitters

Very Good
We use it for interviews. But the windscreen is so huge it rubs against subjects clothing. Had to modify clip to raise mic away from subject's clothes when windscreen is needed. You really hear the difference in sound volume when subject moves head a few inches away from mic center. This mic is best used in uncontrollable noisy environments.

Good Mic
I use this product for interviews when the subject is running around and even in some pretty windy conditions, and it always gives me clean sound. Aesthetically, it's a little bigger than I would like, but it's still pretty unobtrusive and not so noticeable in the shot. I would recommend it!

Not bad, but not great
It works, but has a thin tinny sound quality. The audio from a boomed H2N is richer and cleaner. Like mentioned in other reviews it is very big with the sponge cover on. Good strong clip, fairly short cord. Price in line with quality.

Big on quality, small on length!
The mic is great - good sound quality, nice clip! However, the picture leads the consumer to believe the cord has more length. I had to purchase some inexpensive adapters to lengthen the cord for increased practicality of the product.

Excellent mic!
With the Azden 105ULH system I now have the capability to have 2 lapel mics. I intend to use these with video recording of my family trip to europe this summer. I use the single all the time and it works beautifully.

Not what I expected
It has to much static and can't use for what I wanted. I use it outdoors for video of training horses. You can hear the voice along with to much static that makes it uncomfortable to listen too.

A Uni Lavalier Mic for Azden Pro
The lavalier mic that came with the Azden Pro Video Mic System was an Omni and it picked up sound from all directions. Now there is a uni mic that excludes unwanted side and back noise.
