I am a starting voice over actor and recently got into singing. I tried my Audio Technica AT-2035, but it didn't give me the presence and warmth that I wanted. This is my grab and go mic for standup soundbite interviews for video work. Pickup pattern means keep close to the mouth but it also means it ignores lots of other unwanted room sounds.
