Newer version not as great as old
I purchased one a few years back and its still working great, but this one is starting to experience burn in of still images (ie. taskbars, wallpapers) that stay for about 10-20 minutes even after the screen has changed. Also the VESA mounts did not align with my other monitor even though this is the same model but different year

Great Product - Would buy again
Asus provides a reliable product. This is a ips monitor and in my opinion worth a few extra dollars over a standard fn monitor. Works great no problems so far.

The Worst
Honestly the worst. The screen was off color. I messed with all of the settings to try and make it work but I couldn't get it to look good.

Awesome
Works great. Easy to setup. 1st thing I did was calibrated it using Spyder5Pro. Didn't really see the default settings. I have it paired with a larger Asus monitor as a secondary screen. The other Asus monitor I use for editing photos and graphic design. This monitor has sharp image quality and perfect for my use. Highly recommend this monitor for everyday use.

Good value for the price.
I'm using this as a second monitor for video editing on my MBP. It's a great value, though I wish the stand were smaller so I could have more desk space.

Only works well at the recommended res
Only works correctly (to my taste) at the recommended resolution. Lower resolutions aren't as sharp and there are dual screen issues. My NEC monitor looks great no matter what resolution it's at. Next monitor will be an NEC.

nice, bright picture
Easy to setup, beautiful picture. I use two of these on my new machine, great quality, good price. Only complaint is menu settings are a little clunky but tolerable. Would recommend as best bang for the buck. Also has VESA wall mounting holes. Many monitors don't seem to have these anymore.

adequate, some annoying problems
pros: reasonably priced, has 3 video inputs, reasonable video quality. cons: sometimes fails to sync properly to linux box at 1920x1280. vertical jitters. usually, fiddling with video settings will solve the problem. Beautiful, great size, very easy setup
I use my monitor for my ps3,xbox,pc, i bought a hdmi switch off ebay so i can use all my products at once, it does not have speakers built in so thats a negative but thats the only negative, otherwise i love it

Great Scrieen for a Great Price
I bought this screen because I needed to work on documents and programs at the same time. This is a high quality screen with several plug options. The price is excellent for the quality and size.

Very nice inexpensive monitor
I use this monitor on my old G5 Mac Pro. It was very easy to set up, calibrated reasonably well. There were no issues with dead pixels. I do not use this monitor for photo work, for that I have an NEC P221w with Spectraview. But for everything else, this monitor works very well. There are no bells and whistles, it's just a very good basic monitor.

Cost Effective
This monitor gets a good rating due to the reasonable cost. The instructions included were worthless. There were several ways to connect the monitor, and the correct one must be selected or the monitor will not work. I did get it connected and it is clear and nice.

Nice Sharp Image
I use the monitors moslty for AutoCad and Programming. The brightness and eco settings were easy to find and set to my likes. The images are clear and great for what I use them for. They come with standard stands which don't offer a lot of flexability but I purchased them for their rear vesa mounts which I may use in the future.

Awesome monitor
This monitor is good for anything, from gaming to movies to web browsing and email. Crystal clear display and beautiful colors. The stand is not that bad, works on my desk and you cannot beat the price here, probably the best bang for your buck on this size monitor. Good response time too and very bright but still maintains deep blacks.

Another Fantastic Piece from ASUS!
I must say, going from having my computer plugged into a television, this display is great! I ordered this monitor due to my past experience with ASUS, who have since become a brand I can trust. It arrived nicely packaged, and assembling it is simply screwing the base and the stand together. Very pleased with this purchase.
Connected to my 2008 MacBook Pro via hdmi, amazing monitor. So good I haven't felt the need thus far to calibrate with my Xrite. Colors are amazingly close to my previously processed photographs. I may buy another just to have as a backup. My first Asus purchace after several Samsung monitor purchases, was curious, now very impressed. On another note UPS delivered external box with a large puncture so deep it also punctured the monitors box, thankfully the item itself escaped harm, pure luck, 'thanks' UPS ... usually they're pretty good but this one was a close call.

Great monitor for the price.
I picked up this monitor because it was on the cheaper side for IPS monitors. I had heard from other places that there were problems with bleed and such, but I have had no problems in the 3 months that I've had it. I use this monitor for gaming and designing. Excellent low-cost IPS monitor
Using this Asus monitor with a Macbook Pro and it has definitely changed my experience for the better. Colors look great on here and the viewing angle is adjustable enough for my preferences. Haven't had any problems with it yet, though messing with the color settings can be tricky. Overall extremely impressed at the value for such a good monitor.

IPS Under $200
Monitor is used for photo viewing and light photo retouching. Not a gamer so I dont know how this monitor would fair for games and fast frame rates. Not a glossy screen and colors are great with exceptional viewing angles. Cant go wrong for IPS under 200, yes there are better if you are willing to spend big bucks.
