I don't know if it's the specific ones that I bought, or these headphones sound like that in general, but to my ears they have a boxy midrange character.

Poor bass handling..
Disappointed in these,can't handle any level of bass....fingerpicked acoustic turned to bassy mush,it was clear and defined through my "lo-fi" T-Bone HD880.....was planning to buy a more expensive set of AKG's if these had been OK but bluurgh....won't risk it now....

Good Quality Headphones
Smooth, enjoyable sound with Plenty of detail, clarity and fluid dynamics Great rhythmic ability, Good with a comfortable build The large over-ear cups are airy and comfortable. The leatherette padding keeps the ears cushioned without getting hot over long hours of listening.

very good product for it's price
these are my first closed back headphones and they are great. I use them to monitor my inputs and casually listening to music. the sound feels very neutral, all ranges feels accurate. build is nice and they are comfy even for long use sessions. they are over ear headphones which means your ears will be inside the earpads, and the pads are soft. even though it says it blocks outgoing noise on the product's webpage I have to say you'll be disappoin... Very good closed back headphones.
Well, they are very bassy because of closed construction but they make recording guitar amplifier possible while sitting in the same room :)

Very comfortable and good sounding
Using these for piano playing. Very comfortable compared to AKG K240 Studio, which also are pretty comfortable. For mixing and monitoring I prefer the 240 since I?m more used to their sound, but the 92 are great for listening and piano playing.

Awesome headphones for price.
Bought to use as digital piano lessons headphones. And sound's is really good for that. Good quality cable, excellent fit on different heads. Ambrochures are big enough for every human ear :) Cable have screw-on 3.5->6.3mm adapter, what's really useful. Drawbacks: cable not detachable(not really a big problem for the price, but still), some sound can be heared outside (so no complete sound isolation), and quality of the ambrochures looks like will not last long. But for yhe price paid - bargain deal!

Sturdy & Accurate
An outstanding cheap set of cans.These were the reference headphones we used in university & de rigueur at a lot of radio stations Ive worked at. They are comfortable for extended use. Less lo-mid bump than Sonys not quite as brittle as Beyers. Close back great for tracking vocals. Not well suited for field production like 7506s but great for studio.

Awesome headphones for the price!
These headphones are great for practicing (guitar bass keyboards) and they also work great with a smartphone or a pc (impendance is low) Nice sound isolation, wich makes them good for mic monitoring (that's what I'm mostly using them for) They are not the most accurate headphones you can find but at this price, I think they are worth it

Great for the price
Fast delievery. Lightweight. Fits well on the head. Maybe a slightly tight at the begining, but I think with usage they will fit perfectly. Outside sounds are very low, which is what it should be for me. The sound is great, especially when recording is profesional and with a wide variety of instruments.

Great budget reference headphones
I've bought 5 of these now for both professional and personal use. They are really great headphones at the price range. They are light and comfortable for long sessions - and are pretty good about not getting too hot on my ears. I can usually go about two hours before I need to take a break from them.

The strap force is strong on this one!
Really! I had to put tape to stop the strap to compress my head... the elastics just pull it with too much force. You won't notice this if you have a small head, but in my case it felt like my ears were being pulled up!! The Sound is very good, flat and the stereo is well balanced. The finish is good, the pads and plastics and metal parts are very good! These are closed back but for a drummer won't work as monitors cause they don't isolate the exterior sound very well, you will need to put the music in extreme levels to be able to hear a click track for example.

Good sounding headphone
I used the headphone for producing house music.. The sound quality is reasonable for 40 Euro.It will never beat a 200 Euro headphone. Pros : Awesome build Quality , nice looks, good sound for the money. Cons: Its a shame it doesn't fit on my head. I returned the product with no problems. Awesome service from Thomann.

Ouch my poor head
The sound out of these phones is really pretty good, once broken in. The problem is the head support. The headband fixes to the rails in only one position, which sets the base position perfect for an ancencephalic. If you do have a head, then adjustibility is provided by a pretty strong stretchy band that inflicts ever-increasing pain and suffering on whatever place on your head it contacts.

Comfortable and clear
Bought 2 of these to use as studio monitor headphones and have ordered 2 more, as they are such great value. They are very comfortable to wear for hours at a time, and the sound is clear and musical. One of the two did develop a connection fault where the cable enters the headset, but Thomann quick to offer to fix, so hoping that's an anomaly.

A bit nasal...
They miss a lot of low-end so the sound is not very balaced. Neverthless, the price is very good and the overall quality is solid. Very comfortable and light: I would suggest them as cheap option for monitoring during recording.

comfort is very good but sound is not. It's sound like "adding reverb to tracks". I hear true sound when I weigh down pads, it has a design fault in my opinion...

value for money headphones
Good closed headphones although the isolation from external noise is not as strong if compared with other models, but it does the job quite well. Frequency response is pretty even, except maybe for a slight lack of hi frequencies but no big deal, nevertheless i think this pair of headphones it's still good for mixing purposes. Being very light, comfort is not much of an issue, and pad are big enough to avoid pressing the ears(at least mine)which usually cause some pain after few time wearing headphones. Probably one of the best pair of headphones in this price range.

Great Value fo Money
I live in Heidelberg (half of my time) in a small apartment inside a building so I can't use a normal amplifier. I have practiced 2 hrs with these headphone with good comfort a good sound quality, no ear fatigue. Thumbs up!

Nice sound and comfortable to listen to for long periods
I use this headphones at work, where i listen to music and podcast for 5 or 6 hours a day. In my opinion these Headphones look very nice and are really comfortable to wear. If i compare it to my other headphones (which have cost about 5 times more) the sound is quite good. I feel sometimes it misses a bit of body, or a bit of depth, but still for this price i was surprised on how good the sound was!

Great with my piano
I ordered these headphones together with my piano. I have only used them while playing and they are doing really well. The sound with them on is as though I hear the piano directly. They are also convenient. I usually do not like over-year headphones, but these ones are comfy. Outside sounds are very very low. Not 100% excluded, but say 99%. I personally prefer it that way, so that I am not completely excluded from the room. Overall I am very happy with these headphones, they suit perfectly me and my piano :)

The best one for the money
Nice design, super comfortable, good sounds, looks sturdy and well manufactured. Can't speak as a professional, but I think these headphones are above all the competitors in this price range. 5 Star - for the price
I read the reviews, saw the awards, and the price and thought, why not... I have some HD650s, and these... are no where near as good, no should they be for the price... But for even twice the price you won't find a more comfortable and fun sounding pair of cans... and they're cheap enough you can afford to not be too precious with them... I am actually ordering a second pair today.
