Handles Large Photography Programs Perfectly
I purchased this computer is a dedicated laptop to run photography programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Luminar, and Topaz Studio. The computer runs perfectly and can handle multiple programs of this size with no problem at all. For photographers needing a laptop dedicated to programs such as this, I would recommend this laptop without reservation.

Sometimes you just can't beat what ACER Offers or B&H Photo
Bought this as an Xmas gift replacement for a much older and monitor hinge(s) broken Laptop, which for what the Wife uses it for, works very nicely. Also great that B&H had a Xmas sale for this Unit and the fact it sports a SSD and lots of RAM, which makes it a fast unit running Win 10 Home version--Thanks B&H- great job as always

Fantastic
So far it's working great. The speed is fantastic. the backlit keyboard works well (as a battery saver, baclit KB goes out after 10 seconds or so.) has a smooth surface. I appreciate the numeric keyboard on the right side. picks up wifi really well and and has a good typing feel

Great Bang for the Buck!!!
For an inexpensive laptop, it performs excellently. My only gripes are with ACER and basically ALL P/C & Laptop Manufacturers. This Laptop should have had version 1903 (based on date of manufacture) of WIN-10. Instead it had 1809. Also no Adobe Reader, or Java JRE installed. Also no .NET 4.8 (had 4.72) Remove all the TRIAL software including the horrible Norton AV, and replace it. Also update 15 drivers. This all takes many hours to do. Not picki... Show More

Great price for a good laptop.
This was a Christmas present for by daughter who will be starting college in January. She couldnt be happier!! It runs quick and battery life seems very good! It was the best price I could find for this model!

Boots in no time!
I was used to PCs taking 2+ minutes to boot up; this one, with an ssd, is ready to go in under 15 seconds. The 1080 screen is also really nice. The change from the 768 resolution I was used to is much more noticeable than I expected.

Great product!
So far I'm very impressed with the Acer Aspire 5. It was very easy to set up. It actually talks you through the complete setup. It's never been so easy to get everything working.

Fantastic laptop at a great price!
For being so affordable this laptop sure does pack a big punch. The huge screen is bright and vibrant. And the combination of 8GB of RAM and SSD make this thing just fly! Sure, it's not going to be a beast for high end gaming, but as a work or school laptop, it's amazing. I also like the slim size which makes it even more portable. I would highly recommend this Acer if you're in the market for a new laptop, but don't want to spend a ton.
