I had a Frankensteined desktop PC with an ASUS M3N72-D motherboard and an AMD Phenom 9650 Quad Core 2.3 GHz CPU. Basically, the previous owner used a water cooling system (pump and radiator) to cool the processor. It failed and was causing the system to randomly shut down after 30 or so seconds of turning on. Fan was easy to install and works great. The plastic clips broke on the old fan so I got the metal screw in type this time.
