Useless. Not balanced. Not Radio Frecuency shielded.
I hear many radios added to the musical instrument sound. I think the XLR are actually not balanced. Thay are useless for any serious performance or record. Chep presentation in a toylike blister.

Pyle Pro PMSAX1 Review
Great product. I bought 2 PMSAX1 to enhance the sound of the violin of my daughter and niece, especially when playing outdoor. I used a soft blue tack stuck to the bottom of the clip and attached it to the top of the violin and the mic is placed right on top of the sound hole. The mic works excellent and produces great sound. The price is very affordable.

Decent mic for the price
Used this to mic a violin. Sounds surprisingly good for the price. Definitely sounds better than a piezo pickup.

Great mic for soprano sax!
Both this horn mic to replace my old AKG C419, which developed a short/open somewhere internally. The Pyle Pro gives a bright spund but is less directional so it will pick up ambient sounds. It is sensitive so you can turn the gain down and filter out the low frequencies and have a decent sounding microphone for live performances.

Adequate
For the money, these mics sound fine. I am using them in an orchestra for musicals at a University. They are giving me the opportunity to mic several different types instrument from year to year.
