great little camera!
I just returned home from a trip to Bermuda and used it snorkeling. Great camera! Finally an underwater camera with a fast shutter. Never missed a shot and could shot in succession! I've owned a similar in the past and the door leaked. This one now has a double lock and I believe this will work much better.

Impressive capabilities
Great small camera, it is a fabulous quality camera that is easy to carry. I have found myself reaching for this camera in favour of my EM-1 camera. I love the weatherproof features , good quality pictures, and the option to add RAW. I traded up from TG-4 and my impression is that this a better canera.

As Advertised, tough little camera!
Camera was as advertised and is a tough little camera, great to have when a DSLR is just too much.

bought it for my 9yo
This is the perfect camera for my budding photographer kid. She usually lusts after my Sony a6000 and needed something w/ more oomph than an iPhone. The menus are really easy to follow, and the macro mode is sensational. Highly recommend it. Much to my surprise, a lens cap wasn't included. I sucked it up and bought the $50 accessory, and it works like a charm.

Best 1/2.3 P&S available if set up correctly
This camera replaces a Canon G9X that was dropped three times, lastly off a bistro table to a stone floor. It is my first Olympus P&S since 1998. 1. Setup: Right out of the box in Auto mode the JPEGs were terrible- they looked like someone had smeared gelatin on the lens. I switched to P mode and went into the menu, which is similar to the Olympus Penn menus, a pleasant surprise. I set picture mode to vivid, exposure to -1/3 and noise filter to o... Show More

Best small camera made
Very user friendly, waterproof, small, takes great pictures. I highly recommend this product. Bought it for my upcoming trip to the Arctic instead of taking my big, bulky DSLR in the zodiac and kayak trips.

Bought for kayaking
Seems t6o be a good camera. Bought it for Kayaking. Haven't had a chance to use it in water yet, however, seems to work well for the shots I have taken.

Be careful. I wouldnt buy it.
I have the TG-4. It worked very well and was reliable. I skipped the TG-5 but bought the TG-6 since it seemed like, from reviews, it worked better in low light than the TG-4 whose low light capability want very good. I brought the TG-6 to Tobago on a vacation and after its third trip to the beach under normal use, the control dial started gringing and there was resistance to turning it making it pretty much stuck in auto mode. I think some sand g... Show More

Marginal image quality
I bought this camera in order to have a pocketable, tough, point and shoot camera. It has good ergonomics and a lot of external controls so I don't have to scroll through endless menus to get to the most common settings. I thought that since it records in RAW, I'd be able to get some good image quality. Well, not so much. The photos are a bit grainy and not terrible sharp. It took extensive editing in LightRoom to produce an acceptable image. I've seen far better images out of a cell phone.

Fine pocket camera
I bought this as a waterproof pocket camera for rowing, river trips, and fun people events. I like the features, the ability to shoot RAW, the menu is simple and easy to change & it's a great small camera for photographing candids of kids and adults. The WIFI connect is simple and quick, it is inconspicuous, and easier and quicker than my iPhone camera. It's a nice add to my dslr kit.

Excellent
I actually got this camera as a light meter rather than to take photos, but it's excellent. It measures the light in real time, not just when you half press the shutter button, and you can get a preview of how your photo will look with the particular exposure the camera is suggesting. I use it to get an idea of what kind of base settings I would need to get the effect I want and then I further adjust the settings on my regular cameras to get ever... Show More

Lots of Functionality - Zoom Noise Sucks During Video
I bought this camera for a trip to the Bahamas because I had to pack very light because we were staying on a boat for 5 days. Photo quality was good. There are plenty of functions and features on this camera so you can have a lot of control over your photos. Video quality was good, but when you zoom during video you can hear the sound of the gears moving the zoom which renders video sound sort of useless.

Battery life
Battery completely discharged even though camera turned off. I was told by a long time user that the GPS function really drains the battery, even though the camera is off. It does say that 'GPS continues to track you even though camera turned off. '

Good vacation camera
Borrowed it from a friend for island vacation and couldnt complain. Pictures were sharp and good. Had no issues letting my kids fool around with it and the underwater ones came out great. I just take photos for fun and memories so expectations are t as high as a professional but this line of camera has come a long way since I had the original one years ago.

The TG-6
I bought this camera as a gift for my brother. I knew that this camera was going to be the perfect gift for him. He does construction and needed a durable camera, he also has toddlers at home so the waterproof aspect of it was ideal!!!

great underwater camera,
Without the housing, the camera can take pictures up to 50 feet of water. with the housing, up 100 feet of water. For a small camera, it takes professionalpictures.

Very nice little camera
I bought it for my son for his birthday and a trip to Costa Rica that he is taking. Good knock about camera. I have a red one that I carry with me at all times. I love it for it's size and weight and capabilities. And not least for the good photos it produces. I recommend it to everybody who is looking for a lightweight, good quality camera who is not willing to carry a good DSLR kit. It's a great point and shoot camera!

Takes a bootn keeps on shootin
I managed to drop the camera while jogging, and accidentally kicked it 20 feet away. Also landed on the camera when I was ejected from a raft while white water rafting. No problems at all. -Great battery life for stills. -Decent battery life for video. -Acts as a usb charger -Can be operated from usb power. -Good accessories selection

Great Camera!!! Lousy Strap...
This is the third iteration that we've enjoyed of the Olympus variety. This one was bought to replace one that the little bitty sliding mechanisms failed - you know, the ones that lock into place to ensure water tightness? Well Camera works great, just lost its water tightness, making it useless for snorkeling. So we bought a new version. Only complaint thus far is the red strap is too easily detached and we've successfully tested the drop distan... Show More

Excellent for a P&S Camera
The image quality is about all you can expect from a small sensor P&S and the confines of an enclosed lens. Well built.

TG-6 is the best pocket camera that I have ever owned.
My main camera is the Olympus OMD E-M1X but regardless the TG-6 will always be in my bag or my pocket. The TG-6 will do so much, stick it underwater and shoot, great for macro, has GPS, and will even do focus stacking. It replaced a TG-5 which will stay in my car. The TG-5 replaced a TG-4 which will be given to a grandchild. And so the legend continues.....
