So far doesnt work. Trying to get it to work with Apple
I have been having trouble getting audio into my MacBook for a long time. Mac ended support for Firewire on my Mackie Onyx 820i. I just bought the Onyx Producer 2x2 on the advice of B&H. My MacBook is running the most recent Mojave. I do not recommend Mackie or Apple for trying to get good audio into a digital format.

Mackie Interface Is Solid
I purchased this interface about 2 weeks ago, and although I still havent really done a whole lot with it (yet), it is definitely a solid unit to record with at its price point... its built very tough, the knobs all feel great, the preamps on this sound really good and studio quality to make professional recordings right out the box... pretty powerful headphone amp, and you can connect midi to this to add to the 2 ins and 2 outs, and you have you...
