Wonderful Rhythm Tool
I have only had the Electribe for 10 days or so, but so far it is one of the more useful rhythm tools I have used. I play mostly folk, blues, and world-type music but I have already developed some excellent rhythm tracks using mostly the percussion section and going light on the filters that significantly modify sound. Almost there, but not totally there
This is my 1rst Electribe, but I am a 30 years Korg user. This device has an incredible sound, but: - it lacks a song mode, - it has noticeable lag in between patterns even after 1.03 firmware updates, preventing it from being a live device, or you have to program your patterns super carefully. - The pads are adequate, but not totally precise. - The Master effect section could use more parameters - Documentation is minimum, Korg blog is of great help

Nice groovebox
So far I'm very satisfied with this product. Portable, solid and it has a good form factor. You can start a blank new project or edit and existing one. The 16 parts fully editable gives you the flexibility to compose music of several styles.
