This keyboard mouse combo and it is not long range at all. It says 30 feet range but less than 8 feet and it is losing signal or if not it will key in a different function or letter. I could not believe it - the reviews are right! I ignored this and hopefully I can still return this but I don't have the original box anymore. So disappointed!

very nice keyboard/mouse combo
This is a very nice, quite, low-profile keyboard. With the mouse, only 1 USB port is required, which is a huge plus when using with a laptop.

It's Not Long Range
I bought this keyboard specifically because it was described as Long-Range. I am having problems with the range of the keyboard from distances as little as 8 feet. It drops out letters, lags and doesn't respond. Very disappointing.

This is my 2nd one, its the perfect keyboard/mouse combo!
The mouse with back/forward buttons and point speed control is my favorite feature of it all. The keyboard has slim keys, and is only 5 tall, so it doesn't take up too much desk space. After I bought one for my job, I had to get one for home too!

Short-range keyboard and mouse
This product is working very well for me, now that I have set it up so that the receiver is no more than 2-3 feet from the keyboard and mouse. Any longer distance and the performance is extremely spotty. There is no response when the receiver is plugged into a port on the back of the computer. (My wife does not encounter these problems at all with her Logitech keyboard and mouse.)

Cheap combo with unified receiver, mediocre mouse
Mouse is very light, and the pointer was quite jittery on high-resolution screens. Keyboard is pretty decent.

Web Surfing on a Coffee Table?!
I purchased these wireless peripherals so I could leave my laptop connected, full time, to the 56 LED TV I have hanging on the wall in my living room. Plugged into an alternate HDMI, all I simply need to do is switch on the wireless mouse residing 10+ feet from the CPU (on my coffee table) and voila... I couldn't be happier with this product! The only reason for -1 star is that the keyboard is pretty flimsy and wound't work well for full time, hardcore office use. Yay me!

Nice product if the price is right!
This is a nice combo if you can get it at a B&H price....meaning, I think you're paying too much if you buy it direct from Iogear. I've found both the keyboard & mouse to be a little jerky every now and then and the keyboard has no frame so it feels almost under-sized at first. The key action is ok and very quiet. If you're using an Iogear KVM, this combo works fine. It might not be the nicest combo I've used, but it's nowhere near the worst either.

This is my second IOGEAR Long Range wireless keyboard and mouse. I've been using an older model that I purchased more than five years ago for another PC and it still works great. This new model doesn't use a charging cradle/receiver for the mouse and keyboard like the old model does but rather just uses a small USB fob inserted into one of the USB ports on your computer. I returned this product
The WI-FI transmitter plate is covered only from one side, the other side is open to your fingers. If you do not remove it very often you can live with this, but if you are planning to remove/insert it every time that you are using it the damage can be done to the USB connector by fingers (it's open from one side).

Simple and great!
I bought this new keyboard and mouse combo to eliminate the wire clutter on my desk and hopefully eliminate the frozen cursor syndrome my computer was suffering from. This did both. Wonderful and quiet
I bought one for work because I tend to bang on the keyboard. I loved it so much, I bought one for home. Fairly quiet, but still clicky for a touch-typist, and I have yet to replace the batteries after several months. Mouse is very sensitive, either slow it or get used to it. Setup - plug in near-invisible dongle, you're done. Dongle is tiny, unobtrusive. Includes a number pad for numeric entry. Very light.

truth in advertising
finally bought a product that does exactly what it says it does. I returned 4 different wireless combos from best buy and wal-mart that made claims of 30 ft. range....NOT!! then I found this wireless keyboard and mouse online and I could not be happier. I will do business with this company in the future for sure!

Great Wireless Keyboard and Mouse!!
This keyboard/mouse are light, have great range, and has very quiet key strokes. So far it is working without a flaw and very happy with it. Great for just about any PC or even notebook setup when trying to minimize cable clutter. Would even work great with an entertainment center.

Great Purchase
This stuff works just as advertised!! I had a wireless keyboard and mouse combo that would only work up to a few feet away from the computer, although they work well, I needed the range as my pc is connected to my 46 lcd flat screen tv and the keyboard and mouse are almost 20 feet away!. The IOGear did the trick and I'm very pleased.
