No software for Mac
On screen display is a necessary upgrade to your phantom/gopro unit, but lack of Mac software is a serious 2 star deduction.

Works as Expected. Very Satisfied
The title says it all. Fits into the Phantom 2 very nicely. However, I had to return the first one I received, because the cable and/or the connector to the CAN-bus was defective. It prevented the Phantom 2 from initializing. Wiggling the wire sometimes cleared up the problem, but that is not satisfactory for flying. B&H readily accepted my return request. Small but is a Powerful tool!
Use this product on my phantom 2 and it works great! Love having the flight data display so I can see when my battery is running low and when I have full connection to the satellites for GPS mode. Only issue is that there is a bit of assembly that is required in order to use it. you have to pull apart your Phantom 2 and solder a few wires. Not to much of an issue if you know how to solder like myself. Just be nice to have it plug and play. Love how small it is as well, didn't expect it to be so small and light.

easy iosd
I was a little not sure of how to hook it up but,it sreal easy to do,even though I looked at it 4 like an hour super easy to install I hard wired mine to a phantom 2 as I don't use a stabilizer camera mount I use a soft mounted non movable mount 4 my gopro3 but I cant belive how much easier it is to fly now easy to judge distance and height I use my phantom 2 to herd sheep and horses on farm works great bh really rocks too great service,fast shipping and excellent products thnx be ordering soon again

Nice accessory
This iSOD is a part of my ground station system. Most of the information isn't necessary except the battery condition which saved me problems a few times. I could live without it but it's nice to have as much information as possible if you need it.

Product does what it says it will do
Device is small and feather light. Plug and play device. On screen display of flight information. Biggest advantage is it shows you your home point and gives a direction of turn to return to home point.

This is a must have.
Don't fly without one. It gives you a lot of good info but most importantly, it gives you battery info. Batteries don't always behave as expected and this transmitter allows you to keep an eye on it. The range is great.

I INSTALLED MY IOSD MINI IN MY PHANTOM 2 QUAD COPTER. IT PREFORMED VERY WELL. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE IOSD. I AM ALSO PLEASED WITH B&H PHOTO, GREAT SERVICE!

Works great with DJI Phantom 2
Works as advertised. Took an hour to solder/check the other assorted stuff (video transmitter/etc). The iOSD gives enough information to fly with and have an educated assessment of the forces acting on the Phantom. An absolute essential item for FPV
The iOSD mini works perfectly. I find it a great advantage that I can look on my screen and see everything I need. Once you get used to the position of all the information you are presented with, it's very easy to quickly scan your screen. There are two things I wish you could do with this. Used with a Phantom 2 with H3-3D/GoPro
I ended up soldering this inside the phantom since I had to take the Phantom apart to install the anti-interference board. It did require a little soldering and shrink tubing, but was over all easy and works great.

Great on screen display for Multi Rotors
I have this mounted to a DJI F450 Quad, but it could be used on pretty much anything that flys or even drives. I wish it would show MPH or feet per second vs meters per second, but not that big a deal. Maybe they'll add the option to an update. Easy to install and works great.

Works as expected with FPV/ Phantom 2
Great product from DJI and works as expected. Now I can have all DJI Phantom 2 heli information right on the screen. Great to see battery level, altitude, GPS , and other great helpful information. Easy to install with custom cable (sold seperately) which goes from mainboard to iosd to transmitter- plug-n-play. Of course B&H always delivers- Mahalo B&H from Hawaii.

A must have for the FPV flyer
Nothing like the real time data from your flight. Best uses are the battery voltage and orientation. If you're a data freak, you have to have this.

Useful module but poor documentation
I love this add-on module for my P2. The actual installation is easy. Everything is labeled nicely for each wire. I always like B&H, and the product itself is as good as it's advertised. It would have been an easy 5 stars; however, the documentation for the firmware upgrade was misleading and wasted much of my time.
