I bought these headphones for a 14 hour flight, and I absolutely love them! They are so comfortable on my head and around the ears. And the noise cancelling works so well that I actually got sleep on my flight, which never happens. Best part is, the purchase came with a plane headphone adapter so I didn't have to buy one. I highly recommend them!

Bose Quiet Comfort 25
I have spent the last two months reading reviews and testing where possible, many different types and makes of headsets. I was looking closely at the Sony equivalents of the Bose 25's but after reading a few negative reviews and realising that they were large and not especially comfortable for long periods of time I eventually opted for the Bose 25's. I had been able to test them at Heathrow airport a few weeks ago and was very impressed by the sound quality, light weight and comfort.

Very comfortable, and work extremely well!
I'd been skeptical about the noise-canceling capabilities of headphones in general, but after trying these for all of one day, all I can say is WOW! Now I wish I'd taken the plunge some years ago. These really do help tamp down annoying background noise while presenting near-audiophile sound quality for music from my iPhone, or computer, or other source. The case that comes with the headphones clearly fits & protects them, and makes for a neat way to carry them when traveling. I'm really looking forward to my next flight so I can put these headphones to the true test!

amazing.
I've tried many sets of sound canceling headsets- and these have been the best thus far. I wear them while working to help me keep focused- the only downside is that the headset requires a AAA battery for the sound canceling feature and if you forget to turn them off (I'm always forgetting) You will burn through batteries. I purchased a rechargeable set of batteries for this reason.

Great headphones
These are expensive, but they work. Initially and even now (about 2-3 weeks of use) sometimes you have the impression of ear pressure when you turn on the noise cancellation. I guess you get used to that. Seems good quality. It won't block the sound of a lawn mower completely or voices. Just reduces them. Amazing Sound!
The sound is perfect also they fit great! A small tip when you use the earphones the button that you switch on to cut "any sound out" is always best on all the time when you listen to music I thought it was only used when you was in loud places but it improves and makes the sound so much more clear! 5 year guarantee with Argos was the finishing touch!

Beats my old QC3's by a Mile
I've had the QC25's for a couple of weeks now and love them. I love the Noise Reduction (it's erie!), I love the sound, I love the fact that I can now use a AAA battery rather than a Custom Bose battery, and I also love the fact that I can still use the 25's even if the battery dies -- just without the NR. These are the best noise canceling headphones
I have owned a few pairs of noise canceling headphones in the past and these are by far the best at canceling noise. The sound is descent. I would like them to be a tad louder but overall the sound is great.

jBest noise cancellening headphones!
Tried these on a plane and had to have. Super comfortable for hours and hours. Really blocks out the noise - and music sounds great in them too. So worth the money.

Two Thumbs up
I looked at the Bose , B&W, Beats...before deciding on the Bose, 1st they look great are not to bulky, comfortable around the ear for a flight to FLA & fold nicely into a case provided. But it really about the sound, now that is somewhat subjective..but I really liked these the most. Does a great job at noise cancelling and I just love the sound. Also..I think B&H is the best for customer service.

Bose QC15 perfected
This is a great product. It is lighter, prettier and overall much better conceived than the QC15. The noise reduction system works even better. The sound quality has slightly improved, but remains disappointing for headphones of that price.

Sound piece of kit
I have just used the QC25 on an 8 hour trip and I must say, I am very impressed. The noise cancelling has be experienced to be believed. In fact, I kept turning it on and off just to remind myself how good they are! (much better than the Sennhesiers) The sound quality is also superb. Some reviews said the the bass is lacking, but I would disagree. I'm into R'n'B and love a good warm bass and the QC25 delivered every time. I also liked that the highs are nice and clear without being too harsh.

Not perfect -- but hugely helpful!
I'm a singer and songwriter and got these so I can listen to what I'm working on without outside distractions. WHile they aren't perfect -- human voices and music seem to partially mystify whatever software makes them work -- they do cancel out the loudest and most obnoxious sounds, and reduce the volume of voices and music (from the outside world) by half or more. If you value peace and quiet, just turning them on to cancel noise (while not listening to audio) is a welcome relief from a noisy world. :)

Ears don't get too warm when wearing them for long periods, the noise cancellation is superb, way better than the QC3's they replaced. They are expensive but will last a very long time.

Great headphones, work passively unlike their older brothers (qc15 I think...) notice cancelling is unreal and so is the sound quality, highly recommend!

I'm not an audio geek. Sure, I know the difference between bass and treble, but high-end headphones has never been my thing. But I do a lot of flying, and I'm not a big fan of loud talkers or screaming kids. On long haul flights, the white noise can also be bothersome.These headphones simply blew me away. Don't purchase if looking to block out talking
If you are looking to quieten an office environment these will block out background noise but will hardly dampen any voices at all and sometimes give a ringing in my ear. They are very comfortable but the sound quality is not much better than free Sony headphones that came with my Xperia phone. Lastly, all the functions work ONLY with Apple (i) products, so the controls on the cable will not function on Android devices. Overall I am very disappointed with this product for how much they cost.

Great Sound Quality
Great sound quality coupled with effective noise-cancellation makes this a worthy replacement to the QC15s I owned prior to buying these. Work great for flights and my daily commute as well. Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.
