A solid monitor choice
The Monitor is pretty impressive. Granted I haven't upgraded my monitor(s) since 2009. I have noticed that that the greys are not uniform through out the entire monitor but it is only noticeable when the entire screen in displaying nothing, or if the entire screen is black. Over all I am very happy with the monitor. The aesthetics it are pretty good compared to what is out there.

Its HUGE. But...
The first thing I noticed was there is apparently a gap between the lcd panel and the back light. Enough of a gap that I can see it around the screen edges. As I lean forward or backward in my chair the edges of the panel disappear as my angle to the back lightchanges. It was pretty upsetting. The monitor leaks badly
The display is leaking heavily and is no longer working properly. I only had a little leak when I just got it, I didnt care. But now its not working properly, the screen in the upper left corner makes me crazy. I want to repair the monitor.Who can help meI dont want to spend $830 to buy a bad monitor.

Squeeeeee!
This is just such a gorgeous screen! I absolutely love it! I wish I could tell my brain not to get used to it so quickly. I have it hooked up to a 1080 Ti, and set it to overdrive 100Hz refresh using the included DP cable. Most games adapt really well to the ultra-wide real estate, though I've had one crash on Torchlight II. That quickly recovered on the next launch though. I have to put this thing through its paces on more demanding games, and I want to play with the calibrations some more, but so far, this thing is amazing! Will update if I run into any unforeseen things.

Broke after 3 months of light use
Developed vertical lines in the monitor and a flicker. Confirmed over two different source PCs and interfaces - HDMI and displayport. No advanced replacement available via Asus. No reimbursement for the packaging required to return it. You are not allowed to use the original packaging either. 7-10 days of downtime. Most expensive monitor I've ever bought, and the worst reliability.

First off I want to say thank you to the staff at B&H. The monitor has been outstanding with very minimal back light bleed. You will not be disappointed with purchasing this unit. My wife just shakes her head at it but hey.....

ROG Monitor
I've had great luck with Asus, but was concerned about some past negative reviews of this monitor. Have had it now for a couple of months and can find no faults. It's a beautiful monitor, great for video editing, great for multi-tasking and just enjoyable to look at panoramic displays on. Don't know all the bells and whistles yet, but am very happy with it so far.

Excellent experience, bad backlight bleed
When you read all the stories about bad backlight bleed on these monitors, believe it. If you can live with that, this is an excellent monitor. I went with the Ultrawide instead of a 4K monitor because I'm transitioning from a 3 monitor setup. This monitor is beautiful to look at and the G-Sync really works well. Great purchase BUT noticeable light bleeding!
There are amazing product reviews about this monitor on YouTube, which validate the great performance of this monitor. I confirm everything in the aforementioned reviews including light bleeding in ALL 4 corners of the screen. It does not bother me during the day but at night it become quite noticeable - especially when watching movies that were shot in darker settings.

Amazing Monitor
I've had my monitor a couple weeks now and so far it has been amazing. My biggest fear was stuck or dead pixels but mine came 100% good. I haven't noticed much of an IPS glow either. It is super crisp and just beautiful. I mostly use it for gaming but I could see using it for data analytics or graphic design being that there is a lot of real estate. I'm attaching some pictures, but my phone camera doesn't really do the monitor justice.

Great monitor that is worth its price.
I bought this monitor after watching many reviews and I am not disappointed. The design is clean and simple. The screen is beautiful and although I was worried about the light bleed in total darkness, it was not bad at all. B&H delivered in one day and everything is great so far.

Amazing
I waffled back and forth on getting this monitor vs their 4k PG27AQ monitor. What sold me on it was seeing screen shots of how games looked in Ultra Wide. The field of view you get is phenomenal. Games will give you this extra field of view to the sides and it makes them so immersive. Best decision I have ever made for my PC was this monitor. Even if you don't get this one, get an Ultra Wide for gaming, you need it.

Godly monitor
Bought this monitor last week, when it arrived at my doorstep and saw the box, i was OMG it's huge. Had to actually switch from a 3 monitor set-up to a 2 monitor due to it's sheer size. It's a beauty of a monitor, both in aesthetics and in image quality. Some light bleeding on the bottom right edge, but nothing major. Only thing i can critisize about it, is the ROG logo hologram. It doesn't turn off automatically when i switch off the pc, i have to switch off the monitor.

There are only 2 real choices for gaming monitors that are a) 34 b) Ultrawide c) G-Sync d) 100 refresh rate. Best gaming monitor
By far the best gaming monitor I've ever owned. I feel the high price is justified as you'll not find a monitor with better features, great performance and fantastic color correctness. You may need to tweek certain games for Ultra wide however that's not too involved and i had no issues. If you can afford the price tag I'd say it's worth it.

Been using this for a couple week now and it is incredible. I'm using this with a dell 2560x1440 ISP monitor in a dual monitor setup, but this is obviously my main gaming screen now.
