great synth, quality ok
My previous synth was Montage 6 and although it was a great synth, it was too heavy that made me switch to the MODX. I was very impressed with the overall quality and features. It has all the sounds you can find in a Montage and plus some additional ones very well crafted. It is really lightweight and so easy to carry around. After several weeks of owning the Modx6, and having overcome the learning curve, my revised rating of this product is 5 stars. Love it! Great tones, great usable features.

Steep learning curve
Great sound. Steep learning curve. inadequate user manuals. Tone quality is superb, although occasionally unintended tones are triggered, for unknown reasons. Otherwise, I prefer Yamaha tones to all others.
