Im a beginner photographer and decide to get the a7iii instead of the usual Nikon and Canon and I couldnt be much happier with my choice. Solid Workhorse
It's a great camera and will be at the top of my list for workhorse full-frames for years to come. It has an excellent feel to it and if you can get over the very minor learning curve you can produce some terrific shots/video.

Still a great value in 2019.
I had a copy of this camera that I had bought used years ago and traded for another A7. Was very happy with it. When I recently needed a second full-frame body for a wedding behind my A7III this is the first camera that came to mind. So much to love ...
... but with a few drawbacks, notably its battery life, and lack of a touch-sensitive screen. I love the digital viewfinder that makes focusing a snap. It's the primary reason I bought a mirrorless camera. I also love its smaller size as compared to my old Canon 5D Mark II.

Is a good deal overall. The case, the sd card and the extra battery. For the price is a really good deal. Just be aware that batteries don't last that long and this deal doesn't include battery charger. You'll need to charge it from the usb port of the camera with the battery in the camera. Great camera. Just a few small personal issues
I personally love this camera. Only issues Ive had is the battery life and no eye af in continuous shooting. But these issues are so small and have easy work around a its an easy one to recommend.

Think it's great
It is a little heavier than I thought it would be but really enjoy using it. I have used it for video and stills. In the photos uploaded I used a Meyer-Optik Gorlitz P58 58mm f/1.9 Lens. They were my test shots with the set up. I think the quality is great. I don't have my portable drive with me or I would load up with my regular lenses rather than the Gorlitz. Wish the battery life was better...
This is a solidly built camera that takes fine photos. Only big negative is the poor battery life. While I have only taken it around for local photos, it's obvious that at least one backup battery needs to be in my pocket at all times. The other issue is that the camera kid does not come with a charger...the only way to charge the battery is via the camera.

So far, so good!
Picked up the A7II after using an A6000 for several years. So far, I love it. The kit 28-70 lens has been superb (I've read of bad copies floating around, buy mine has been fine). Battery life could be better (but that was an issue with the A6000 as well, so . . .). Anyway, from a non-professional point of view, I'm really liking the A7II. Also, B&H shipped the camera about 8 seconds after I pressed the buy button, so that was cool. Camera arrived FedEx a few days later. I'll be using B&H in the future for sure :)

Great for Legacy Lenses
I enjoy still photography and prefer using my older, manual focus lenses. The A7 II provides in-body stabilization and effective magnification (approximately 5x and 10x) so getting perfect focus...even with manual focus lenses and 70 year-old eyes...is easy. great camera value
as a professional photographer, I have found this camera perfect for my needs. While some might argue that its getting a bit long in the tooth, having been released in 2014, I say it remains a wonderful camera that performs beautifully in my world. At the current pricepoint, it cant be beat.

Excellent
Still getting use to it. I finally made the switch from canon. First, its super light not like the canon. It was a tank. I did get a converted to use my canon lens but when I use my 70-200. The pictures came out chopped. A bit blurry. Besides that, this camera is top of the line. Worth the price. Good if you want to convert to full frame.

Sony a7ii with lens
Really good value. Much cheaper than in Singapore. Features of camera tho a little dated is sufficient for my type of photography...mainly used to take fotos during family gatherings and on vacation. The firmware were all updated out of the box.

A7ii w/28-70 lens kit
Glad to be able to buy this at a very good price. Camera tho a little dated is sufficient for my photographic needs. The free gifts are useful too (luckily I managed to find out about this package with free stuff as the other offer without free stuff goes for the same price). Take great pictures and the firmware in the camera is already updated to 4.0.

So far, so good!
This is my first full frame camera. I already have a Sony a6000 and a Sony a5100. Its going to take me some time to learn all of the capabilities of this camera. But I am looking forward to the journey.

The best full frame mirrorless for the money
I love!!! this little camera and there is nothing little about it! It is the best full frame mirrorless I have used and probs best in class even compared to DSLR for the price range. If you need to shoot everything in a professional body (weather proofed and sealed) with excellent auto focus or even manual focus (that excepts other lenses with adapters) this is it!!! look no further. This camera is great for me. My fist full frame I sold the lens and bought a Sony 24-105 f4. I did not like the kit lens. I love this camera very easy menu not like a Olympus em1.

Good size
This is such a grand step-up from point-and-shoot that I am thrilled. Certainly is more to carry around, but, so far, seems well worth it. For a camera with interchangeable lenses the form factor is very good.
