Excellent boundary mic
This is astoundingly good boundary mic for $. Much more solid, heavy, and elegant (both the mic and the inline preamp unit) than I expected. Pattern and noise are just as advertised. For most conference room applications, the room noise (computers, AC, etc.) is going to be much louder than the self-noise of these mics. I will probably pick up more. This version does NOT have a mute button, BTW. B&H delivery and pricing were top notch, per usual!

Good Mics
4 1/2 stars. These mics perform as you'd expect. I use two of them to record audio on typical conference room tables. Used with both Mackie 402 mixer and a Sound Devices 302. Excellent results with both. Obviously the further away someone is from this mic, the more room sound you get. With 2 of these mics I've recorded 12 people around a conference room table very good results. Fairly good price on them as well. Overall, very good value.

Perfect for focus group recordings!
Worked perfectly for focus group interviews with about 12 participants spread throughout the room. Extra long cord allows you to place mic where you need it, while small size is very unobtrusive. Would buy again.

Worked better than I expected
Used this mic for video taping a group discussion. The mic picked up all participants perfectly. Sound quality was excellent. The fall off range is about 6 feet but still usable from longer distances.
