Nice balance and classic, vintage tone make this a great mic for harmonica players. Great for plugging directly into a guitar amp and capturing that Chicago blues tone.

I started using this model in 1970 and 40 years later, it is still tops of all the microphones I have used. I have a Sennheiser e845 (another great mic) but I like the Shure 565 best for live stage vocals. The tonal coloration of the 565 can't be beat.
