Awesome Sound
Bought these because my Sony waterproof headband sound on one side quit working. The sound quality on the PMX 684i is so much better and hear notes that I hadn't before. I use the headphones when exercising and needed something that would withstand sweating. Pros: Sound, one wire (versus wire from each ear bud, waterproof. They sound good
These are not audiophile quality headphones, but of course one does not expect that from them. I keep a pair on my elliptical machine so I can watch videos on my tablet while working out, and they are perfect for that. I was never a big fan of the behind the neck style of headphones but these are actually pretty comfortable. And the sound quality is more than adequate for my purposes. Of course, they are in no way noise reduction capable - the earbuds sit above your ear canals so they dont even physically block ambient noise like other earbuds would, but otherwise no complaints.

okay as headphones
Never having owned a pair of this style of headphone (with the weird behind the neck headband) I wasnt sure of what to expect. Turns out they are comfortable to wear and the sound they put out is decent. I would have given them a higher rating but for the fact that the microphone is sub-par - talking to my friend I am told that it sounds like there is a lot of wind noise (or some other kind of abrasion sound) that makes it less than useful for phone conversations. But for purely listening to music or podcasts or whatever they are totally fine.

Painful for smaller ears
I wanted to like these so much, but the fact that I have a small noggin my ear openings are also pretty small - especially for an adult. Leaving them like they are, they can only stay in my ears for a certain amount of time before they start to cause me pain - it would be awesome if there was a set of adaptors included with the set so that folks with little or big ears for that matter could make them as comfortable as possible. I think I'm just destined to wear ear buds forever, as none of these hard shell headphones work for me.

Not what I hoped for
NOT what I expected from Sennheiser. The wraparound brace is NOT very strong, so the earbuds do NOT fit snugly into my ear canals, sound is mediocre at best, unacceptable at worst. Almost NO bass, even when I add my very good ear protectors on over it (bought this to use when doing yard work). Not sure if I'll keep them, even at that price, will try them under differing conditions and decide at that point. Chas

Painfully good sound
There are 2 parts to this review Sound and Comfort. From the sound perspective, these have clean sound with rich bass (though not necessarily "thumping" bass like you get with over the ear headphones). The problem with these is although they are very lightweight, they are hard and press into my ears and are actually painful at times. They need some silicone around the edge of the ear piece to distribute the pressure.

Seem pretty good
I have only worn them a few times working in the yard so far. I like the design because I can wear them with any hat, but you can do that with regular bud also. However, they seem to stay on and the cord stays out of the way better. I am sure the little clamp will help if I remember to use it for the cord. The sound is fine for earbuds. Seem pretty comfortable, but may irritate ears if used for long periods of time.

Great BUT: Cord needs help
I love these headphones. This is the 4th & 5th pair I have pair I have purchased. The connection of the cord to the headphone is the problem. Due to the angle of the cord in the connection, this is where the cord fails every time. Even, the small bag provided with the headphones causes the wire to have a sever bend even in storage. Enjoy for as long as the cord hold up.

Great fit and great sound
These headphones fit secure for running but still very comfortable. They are not tight in any way. Amazingly, they fit a large variety of head sizes. They fit my x-large head AND my teen daughters head. Sound is good. They don't seal inside your ear canal like some earphones, but the sound is still quite good. Button are easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Decent sound for the price. Only one size.
These lightweight earphones have decent sound. I got them for $20, and they were worth that price. When I purchased them, the web description said they came with small medium and large ear adapters, which was incorrect. Hopefully that listing will be corrected soon. They come in only one size, which is comparable to the old style Apple ear buds.

Disappointing Sound Quality
This is the first Sennheiser product that I have been dissatisfied with (and I bought my first HD-414s 40 years ago). The tonal quality (esp highs) is rather poor, and the way the headphones press against the outer part of the ear can sometimes block the sound altogether. The Apple earphones that came with my phone sound 100% better.

Great sound quality and price
I paid a great price for two of these headphones. The sound great is great and it works very well when I run with it. They stay in place while I am doing my workout. The only problem is the jack is for older iPhones, not the new type of jacks that come with iPhone7 and later. You need a small adapter to connect to the new iPhones.

Good enough
A decent headphone for the price...special deal of two for the price of one. Most likely a clearance special. Sound quality is pretty good with adequate bass. Some people complain about comfort, to me with my humongous head theyre comfortable enough. The controls dont work on my android phone, but for the price I can live with it.

LEARNING CURVE
I feel the price for a pair of the Sennheiser Sports Headphones was great at just under $20.00. Im still trying to get used to its warped shape wrapped around behind my neck, hence the title of this review. The volume control is great and the additions like the clip and carry case helped sell me on this product.

nice fit and good deep sound
It takes a few days to get used to it and after that it feels natural. nice, good sound. I use it at the gym and its great, doesn't fall off the ear and its a nice fit. only thing I would change are the cheap ear covers. also when doing bench workouts the back gets kinda annoying but i don't really mind it.

Great tone in my ears
I am very pleased with the in ear phones, but I missed that they are actually for Iphone - Ipad use. They work well as earbuds but the volume has to be set by the device, and set very low as these are super loud otherwise. Comfortable, solid base and smooth no shrill treble, comfortable to wear ear phone.

They dont fall out
Very good audio quality and they dont fall out like other in-ear headphones. I use these both for excercising and also monitoring audio while shooting video. Because they are low profile they dont get between me and the camera. I own 5 pairs of these as they are a bargain when BH has them on special.

Well made for its class
The earphones are well made in its class and the sound is clean, even deceptively well balanced with studio recording rendering. A bit more bottom end and punchy than I expected. A good fit for the head even though its my first of this design style.

I just wanted to to replace an old ear bud headphones. Im blown away by the fidelity! And the Sennheiser PMX 684i are so easy to put on and take off. I did not know about the smart device features or the inline, just really enjoy my music now!

Strong and steady
Good sounding; smooth top, strong bass. I wish the headband were a little more adjustable or softer so it didnt interfere with wearing a hat or when lying on my back (stretching or working out). Otherwise a fine choice in the wired category.

Big difference
I never saw the point in spending a lot for headphones. I saw these at a great price and took the plunge. These have made me a believer, you get what you pay for and the sound from these headphones is head and shoulder above my old set.

They work great
Love that it came in a two pack. I had a pair of a different version of these, blue ones, and love them. I would never pay the retail price they claim to be worth, they are not worth that much. But on a deal day price they are awesome!

Solid Headphone for sports and outdoors
Pretty good sound and works well with my iPhone. Maybe my head is a little too big because it's pretty tight and digs into my ears a little bit after wearing them for an hour or two. Better than buds in any case and reasonably priced.
