Very good audio, but horrible with mic pops

We have two of these mics and two MZW-104 Windscreens. These mics pick up plosives (mic pops) like it's their job. Since they are cardioid, this makes good mic placement almost impossible. Placing the mic to avoid pops can quickly put the subject outside the pickup pattern. If you can get a good placement, or a subject that doesn't breath toward the mic, you can get very rich dialog with little background noise.
