Great Portable Drive
I am using this on a BMPCC 4K and it works great for a few hours of shooting at 8:1 or 12:1 compression. I would recommend multiple drives for a smooth workflow.

Smaller than a business card
The compact design allows me to Velcro it to the back of my monitor. One draw back is the cable is too short. You must use a USB extension and will work great.

Great for Photographers!!
I transferred a terabyte of photographs to this drive as soon as it arrived. My pictures average 120mb each, straight out of camera. This drive is lightning fast when attached with the USBc/Thunderbolt cable supplied with it (also comes with a standard USB3 Cable). While working in Lightroom and Photoshop, this drive is just as fast as working from an internal SSD. I also love the portable size and the fact that it can travel in a shirt pocket!

Well-designed, Fast and Stable at a Reasonable Price
I started using the 500GB version of this as a recording medium for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, and became an instant fan. Its a fraction of the price of its CFast 2.0 equivalents and can bolt onto a camera plate/cage with a number of third party mounting brackets that include built-in cable clamps. Works out of the box with my iMac
Purchased to store digital photos. I have an older iMac with older USB but the digital photo transfer speed is still very fast. I am using only as a desk top external hard drive - but I can see the value in taking this with you - if is very small and compact.

Impressive
So much storage so little space. It comes with two cables (USB and USB-C). Able to partition it on a Mac. Only owned it a month but I work off of it daily and its zippy, theres no perceptible lag. I connect with USB 3 and see read and write speeds just above 400 MB/s. Very nice drive.

Light weight, fast, and secure
I used it for backup my photos. Super fast speed in moving files in and out. Light weight, I carry it in my bad everyday. Password protected, you do not need to worry about security issues.

Blazing speed
Blazingly fast - really small - super convenient. I got the 2TB version, and its perfect for receiving 4k XAVC-I camera files on multicam shoots, then turning around and using it as an editing source drive!

Samsung is going to sell a billion of these...
Ive still got an external drive the size of a hard cover book on my desk, so maybe Im just catching up to modern times but I cant believe how fast this drive is. Not just transferring data, but how fast Windows sees it and how fast the file directory populates. It feels really nice in the hand - if youre tired of USB sticks and external drives that feel cheap and easily breakable, youre going to love how solid and well-made this feels. Maybe Ill feel differently in 3 years, but today I think Samsung hit the bullseye with this design.

So far, so good!
I use this 1 TB external SSD to backup files from my 2018 MacBook Pro. It significantly speeds up the process of using Time Machine, which I usually connect every week or so to provide a backup. Time will tell if the device will last as long as a spinning hard drive, but the product seems very well made and I dont have any issues at this point.

Fast and in a really small and well-designed form factor
Quality of construction is really nice (aluminum) and it also comes with an indicator light. Speed is really good, matches what is advertised. The software for enabling hardware encryption on macOS is its only weaknesses. It works but took some time to install it properly.

Great little drive
For a few weeks Ive use two of these as the the work drives on my iMac, keeping the internal drive as the system disc. It all seems to work very well.

Fried on 2nd try
Inserted device into USB hub, ran ACRONIS backup. OK. Two days later inserted into USB hub, warning from desktop of high voltage drain on hub. Device no longer shows up on computer. Toast. Dead.

Perfect
Since switching to primary 4k footage my older drives havent been able to keep up with the load while editing. Got the 1t as a trial for a recent project and I am in love - faster than anything Ive used. Will def be getting one of these with more storage in the future

Very small, massive capacity
1. Tiny size, easily fits in your kit without requiring much space 2. Powered over USB-C, no power supply, etc. required 3. Huge capacity The read/write speed is not stellar, which is expected for a device like this, but acceptable for backing up photos.

Perfect backup, prefect for moving between computers.
I use two MacBooks and need to backup important documents and need to store the huge photofiles my hobby generates. Previous WD hard drives each failed. These are small, portable, no moving parts, easy to set up (plug and go). I have two of these T5 drives. One handles my Apple Time Machine backups, the other storage of original large photo files. And they are fast for both reading and writing. This week my primary MacBook Pro was in service (new battery) so moved drives to my Macbook Air travel computer and resumed work.

Fastest... Drive.. Ever...
This drive is what I use to edit everything off of... the transfer speeds are so noticeable for use for editing in final cut. We keep all project files on this drive. HUGE step up from the HDD we were using.
