Best bang for your buck air cooler
I first ran my new system (Ryzen 5 3600) with the stock cooler which worked, but I saw my idle temperatures around the mid 40's and under load well into the 70's and low 80's. I installed the Hyper 212 (using an IC Graphite pad instead of compound on both installs) and now idle around 30, and have yet to broach 70 under sustained load. There is a reason this cooler has been the go to for so long. I don't see any reason to add a second fan to pull at this point since my temps are good.

This amazing cooler.
This cooler is amazing. It works so well, I've been able to overclock my CPU to 3.7 Ghz and the cooler handles it like it's nothing. Not only that, but the Rgb lighting makes my case look so much cooler, pun not intended, since my case is a tempered glass case. I love this cooler and am so glad I bought it, I never expected this cheap cooler to be so incredible!

My 2nd Cooler
This style of cooler works great. I have another (older model) in my other PC. The one thing I was disappointed with this new cooler is the way the fan is mounted. This model used two small spring brackets to hold the fan onto the fins. The older model 212 has a plasti... Solid, bigger than I expected, but awesome!
Built a gaming PC with a Core i7-8700 (not overclocking), and this thing is an awesome part of my build. Much bigger than I thought, but fits inside my NZXT H500 case. I wish the RGB cable were a little longer. I had to buy an extender to connect it to the RGB header on my motherboard. I love the black aluminum. Comes with thermal paste and everything else you need. Definitely recommend it.
