Great TN monitor
I'm really liking the purchase of the Acer Predator XB1 monitor. It has performed flawlessly. Although, the included displayport cable didn't work. I purchased a new displayport cable to enable the high refresh rates the monitor is capable of but to be fair I didn't call the Predator Premium Service that comes with the XB1 for 3 years of support. I could've called but I like to problem solve myself and I couldn't wait to start gaming with my new XB1.

Great Monitor Bad QC missing Parts
See Photo i spent 2 hours on the Phone with Acer and they couldnt figure out what i was talking about ! so check that everything is there before you leave the store if they allow it. whats a insult to injury is there a thick black card in the box with a Phone Number for Special support Just for the Predtor Line its a joke!

Best Monitor for 2K
Everything is good in this monitor so smooth. u have to celebrations because the white near from yellow , and the only issue is the bleeding and of course because its an IPS Panel.

Great monitor even by 2018 standards
I purchased the XB271HU IPS since it's become much more affordable at $599. With 1440p, 165hz, IPS, and G-sync, it ticks all the right boxes. And since it's much later in it's manufacturing cycle, the display panels used in these today have far less or no black light bleed. Great features but QC issues on the panels
This monitor really checks all the boxes, IPS panel for better colors, high refresh rate, 2K resolution, and GSYNC! This is my first high refresh rate monitor and it really does make a difference. However, as many others have said, there are some QC issues on the panel itself, namely the IPS light bleeding from certain corners/edges. While mine isn't too bad and the issue can exist for any IPS monitor, it would be nice if a product of this price range had more consistent quality. Buying such a high end monitor shouldn't be a gamble.

I have zero complaints. I am hooked up to Display Port Playing Fallout 4 so far. After getting use to the front lower right controls it becomes easy to navigate and adjust color accordingly. I love the borderless screen, the monitor is luxurious looking on my desk, I love the subtle gaming highlights, just enough. Simple review, no tech stuff... I love this monitor, classy, feels and looks amazing. It comes with a yellow tint, there are sample setting on the internet or you can use windows calibration or you can do it yourself. Great monitor overall with a few caveats
Let's start with the cons: 1. It came with two dead pixels. It happens, and they are both in the top right corner where I almost never see them. 2. I can't find any option to auto-detect input. One of the best gaming monitors you can buy
This is probably one of the best monitors money can buy right now. went from 1080p old LCD screen to this at 1440p, and my gaming is on a whole other level. The contrast is incredible, color space incredible, and running this with Gsync using my GTX 1070 at 1440p motion is clear and tear/blur free. Only complaint I have is the display port cable was really short, maybe 3ft? I had to get a 6 footer based on where I have my computer.

I would buy it again
Great monitor, no dead pixels, and the colors are great even for a TN panel. Good refresh rate paired with GTX 1060. I like the color settings and after calibrating the monitor (I used i1profiler) the colors are very good. Very useful the extra usb 3.0 hub. I do recommend this product. Is a good compromise between the panel type and specs.

Great Quality monitor!
Purchased two of these for a new PC build. Quality is great and both arrived with zero dead pixels and very little back light bleed. Which after a month of returning and swamping from different vendors, and brands was quite unexpected. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to the way one of the monitors arrived. The ACER box with the safety tape was already cut and tabs holding it shut were quite ripped. Everything was still inside the box though and as i stated above great quality so not sure what that was about.

An excellent monitor, worth the extra cost.
An excellent monitor, worth the extra cost. Use this monitor for gaming, data analysis, programming and video editing. No issues what-so-ever. Out of the box monitor is rock-solid and after installing the updated drivers and a couple of adjustments, it's even better... I'm very impressed with the ability to upscale the FPS from 144-165 with four clicks of the mouse; no wading through overclocking tutorials to possibly void a warranty. Nice!

My friend initially recommended this to me. After an extensive research, I have found this monitor to be a more stable option then it's ASUS counter part (I have both). I bought this to replace a Dell U2412M IPS display primarily because I wanted G-Sync. Awesome display for editing and gaming
After 49 years I finally built my first PC and wanted a great display to take advantage of the 1080 GPU. Granted this was a little more money than I wanted to spend but that's what tax refunds are for! Looks fantastic, color is great, G-SYNC for gaming. I use the box mainly for Photoshop, Cinema4D, After Effects and Overwatch :-) If you don't do any gaming you can probably afford a cheaper hires display without GSYNC but for me it was important to take advantage of my new PC build. I guess if you don't mind spending the cash you can't go wrong. I have no regrets.

Best 1440p gaming monitor on the market today
Great gaming monitor! Purchased this to go along with my two new GPUs and I could not be happier! No screen tearing or ghosting of any kind. I know some folks had a few issues with dead pixels or backlight bleed, but I have had none of that. If you are a serious gamer, GO WITH G-SYNC!!! I know, you're probably thinking I don't need that, I'll just get something a little cheaper. You're wrong. I tried that (three other monitors) and was unhappy with the performance, until I bought this monitor. The IPS display, 144hz refresh rate, 27 screen size, 1440p... you won't find a better monitor.
