This speaker sounds great and gets loud: all you need for acoustic or bluegrass in a small venue. You may need a subwoofer, depending on the type of music. It puts out listenable volume up to 60 ft away outdoors, in my opinion. I also have the iP1000, which will get in your face at that distance. Between these two, I have all the PA I need.

Small footprint. Big Sound.
I own a Turbosound Ip1000 and now this. The IP300 is not as loud, but it has a slightly more pleasing, smooth sound in the mid range. The IP300 doesn't have as much bass, but it has enough. Some may want to add a subwoofer. At 60 ft away in an outdoor environment, the sound is clear and pleasant. The IP1000 still gets in your face at that distance. Also, the IP300 has a more even spread. With the IP1000, it is a little easier to say sounds like the music is coming from over there. A 120 degree (IP1000) vs 180 (IP300) degree array apparently makes a difference.
