Picture perfect

Extremely pleased with this Toshiba TV. Picture quality is excellent which I expected after carrying out research prior to purchase. Sound quality exceeded my expectations, my 7 year old LG had a decent sound but this Toshiba blows it out of the water, no need for soundbar but with Bluetooth built in it's extremely easy to connect a soundbar and many other devices without wires. Haven't used Alexa yet but I will try soon. Easy to switch between TV, Prime and Netflix. Would recommend.

One of the failure pieces

Reason for buying this television is Alexa enabled feature, unfortunately it’s not working perfectly eg: “Alexa turn off the television” and software respond very slowly while press the menu’s. While turn off its take ages to switch off so as a user we press twice and again television will switch on. Build in quality of the product is very bad we can feel the gap in between the screen and back panel dust can go easily on this gap.

Great Television

Very impressed with this TV so far, great features easy to operate and looks amazing too. Having the centre stand gave me the opportunity to have a larger screen size, as wall mounting was not an option in my case, the stand is really solid and sturdy and I would have no problem recommending this to anyone who is looking at this price point. I've not sorted out the Alexa part yet but I'm sure I will soon.

Amazing TV with Alexa

Great built in viewers for freeview and satellite connections easy to set up and operate using Alexa voice control to switch on and off , change volume and channels , pause and play, etc , amazing smart functions , quick wifi set up and good connection to stream films which you can easily record on a hard drive via USB connection, no more sky Bill's! Would highly recommend

I don't recommend that tv..

I don't recommend that tv I bought it one evening and next day in the morning went to shop and returned... picture quality wasn't very good it's only 50hz I noticed a big gap between screen and frame so probably dust can go there easly..very poor menu .. in my opinion is better to pay extra £50 and buy LG.. so much better quality.. I hope that help

This tv has a good picture but the sound quality is awful, it replaced my old Toshiba tv, I was watching old tv when this arrived and when plugged this in noticed immediately that the sound was really tinny, I spent ages trying to get a better sound out if it and plugged it up to Harmon Cardon speakers but still wasn’t as good as my old tv

TV review

Picture and sound are perfect but the green on light can be annoying. But if you can get past that then you have a marvellous product. Just a side note that the remote stopped responding. Seemed it was something to do with the Alexa add on box. Unplugged it and it worked fine. Not a problem for me as I never used the Alexa aspect.

Looks great

Had to re-order after our first choice had a broken screen on delivery by Yodel. Could not order another set as out of stock. Had to pay £80 extra and received the the truly great offer of £5 voucher. Our new Toshiba is great and now that we have learnt how to use it the picture quality brilliant. Madam I good choice.

A good TV but not for me

First thing is this is a decent tv for the price bracket, however for my needs it didn't. suit, you can't switch audio output to ONLY use optical output, which was a deal breaker for me. If you don't use a sound bar then it's a really good find. Shame the Alexa is via an add on mic, that spoils the look a little.

my tv

instructions are non existent very small booklet did not connect to the WIFI straight away so had to figure it out as the instructions do not tell you just refer to tv menu which is hard to find without the instruction l would advise a magnifying glass to read instructions. sound goes up and down on its own

Nice TV to look at.

Picture-Sound and Internet very good. Unable to setup Alexa because cannot find settings menu its hidden somewhere the instructions tell you how to use it but not how to find it this would stop you checking anything like software and channel updates so disappointed .would not buy this make again.

Great price for smart TV Looks great too !

We order this 49’’smart TV & really happy with the tv , picture quality etc. Looks smart and I liked the design of the stand of the Toshiba. Not too tricky to set up , Alexa works fine now after the initial set up which wasn’t too complicated, would definitely recommend this TV !

Great value quality television

We researched many televisions, some of which were very expensive but in the end settled on this model. It has all the features we want and need and it was the exact size. It was very easy to set up and also has connection to our Alexa. Highly recommend this television.

Excelant picture & sound. Good quality & size.

This Toshiba is a good example of a TV set, Picture is good quality. The apps. are flexible and entertaining. Enjoy the large screen. 50'' is good size for average 12' to 15' sitting room or bedroom. Would like to get another. Perhaps with bar sound next time.

Is nice tv for the price but sometimes go off

Nice tv for the price and have a nice cualiti pics but sometimes Alexa just get glitchy and need to unplug and plug the tv or sometimes just restart alone the tv turn off alone and on again but for the rest is nice tv quality price is nice

Bought this new t.v .

This t.v is brillant excellent sound and picture quailty. It was very easy to set up and all the extras like amazon prime and freeway were quick and easy to use I would highly recommend this product and excellent value for money xx.

Great looking Smart tv

We had a previous Smart TV but the sound and picture quality were disappointing. Having read various reviews and taking account of cost we decided on this Toshiba. It has proven to be a good choice and meets all our expectations.

Don’t bother

Sent back after a few days. Toshiba phone apps do not work, Alexa box was useless, mirroring did not work. Tv also reverted colour settings back to factory settings. Argos were great and exchanged for a Samsung

Brilliant Tv

Love this TV Brilliant picture, comes with alexa. Such high quality picture and sound. Very easy to use and set up and looks great. Ordered at 2pm and received it at 8pm to my front door, fantastic service.

Just love my tv

Easy to set up. What a difference going from 32 in screen to this. Picture is great and I am really enjoying watching my programmes on this. Have not set up Alexa yet but will do shortly

Daughter’s Christmas present

Perfect for her needs and easy to install. Great size and good picture quality. The Alexa addition was a great addition and has been used to maximum effect ! I would recommend this tv.

Great picture

Great picture but non hd programs are very obvious. Easy to use and set up. Sound ok but I use surround cinema so not great in comparison. Alexa answers some very risqué questions.
