Best Budget Camera
Bought for upcoming wedding and Honeymoom as wanted easy point and shoot digital camera that delivers excellent quality pictures. The Sony Cypershot delivers this and more at a great price too. Plenty of features you would expect on a more expensive model and the intelligent mode is a must for inexperienced users as makes sure you get the perfect shot every time. Would definitely recommend.

Good Camera, Works Well
I bought thi as a gift for my elderly parents, the controls are easy enough for arthritic hands to use and the camera is very easy to use. It is a neat size and fits easily in a shirt pocket. It takes a good quality picture, and the addition of panorama and video capability is a triumph. It means mum and dad only need to carry one device for all their needs. All in all a great purchase.

Perfect little camera for travel
Purchased this for my granddaughters 9th birthday. She absolutely loved it. She has takes some fabulous photos with it. The zoom is decent for the size of the camera. Simple to connect to laptop to transfer pictures. Easy to use settings, I showed her once how to get into the menu and she seemed confident with it. Pictures are sharp with good colour capture. Fits neatly into your pocket .

Pocket Cam!!
We have pro cameras for all our serious work. These are just handy to carry around with us when we are out and about. My wife has the W810 and I have this W830. Pictures are adequate for this type of camera and price range, but don`t expect Nikon/Canon quality. They take better pictures and video than our smartphones, but as I say, they are only for general use and not for serious work!

Great for the price
Just wanted a point and shoot camera that takes decent pics, slips into a pocket but had a good optical zoom, this camera ticks all those boxes. The photos turn out much better on a computer or tablet then they look on the camera's own screen which isn't great (hence the 4 stars). Battery can be charged using USB charger. Had to resize these uploaded photos to meet Argos requirements.

Slow & fiddly to use.
I want sure wether to buy this model or the canon ixus 165. After much deliberatio i picked this model. I took the camera to music festival but found it dificult to use. The on/off button is tiny to press and because it is slow to react i was not sure if i had pressed it correctly. Couldnt focus very well if lots of objects in veiw. No good for quick snaps as the moment has gone

easy to use
The camera is easy to use. The intelligent auto feature really helps and it's really easy to adjust the pixels as need 10 px for a full zoom.or to change to beach mode. The pictures quality is really good as well. The camera is well made but battery flap is a bit flimsy and battery can last but a full day constant picture can cause battery to quickly die. Also sd card is required

Terrific camera
Reasonably priced, quality camera, with a Zeiss lens (which my dad always used to swear by). It takes sharp, realistic photos. Videos are also excellent, though if it's breezy, you may want to cover the microphone with your finger (easily done, as the mic hole is on top of the camera), or you could get loud wind noise on the video. I'm very impressed with this little camera.

Great compact camera!
Decided to buy a new camera for a holiday to Sri Lanka. I wanted a good camera that wasn't too expensive. After reading the reviews I chose this one. It is really compact so fits nicely into a pocket or small bag. It has a good zoom too. I've just got back from a fab holiday and am very pleased with the photo quality. My parents were impressed and will be getting one also

a little gem
This little camera will fit in a shirt pocket so how they managed to fit so many functions into this little gem is amazing. If you are new to photography this camera will take care of you, Set it on automatic and it will reward you with great pictures. Experiment with its many functions and you will begin to feel what it's like to be a photographer. Good price great pics.

Spot on!
I don't think I have ever written a review , but the pleasure I have had with using this camera compels me to do so. The 'easy mode' function of this camera is the business. I took 100's of photos on a recent holiday and the quality is superb. Even the pictures taken from the back of a 4 x 4 moving jeep going up a river came out great - as if they were taken on a tripod!

Pretty disappointed
I thought this camera would be better, but i was disappointed. The image quality is better on my phone and it took too long to capture an image so keep missing the vital moments. Also unless the subject is absolutely still then it can very easily be blurry. The positive is that the camera is good at taking photos on the timer and has a good range of options for this.

No charger, low bat life, but good quality pics
The camera itself works fine, but when it arrived it either wasn’t charged enough or the battery doesn’t last long because the camera’s battery icon went to red pretty fast. Also, this camera did not come with a charger. On the plus side the camera takes pretty good quality pictures just remember to buy your own SD card because it doesn’t come with one either.

Good camera but a bit fiddly buttons
An amazing camera for such a tiny object. It takes a bit of getting used to if you're used to a viewfinder. The on/off button is a bit small and the zoom is a bit jerky, but as a "point and shoot camera it produces fantastic pictures that compete well with my Nikon D3300. The battery is tiny, but lasts a long time between charges. Overall an excellent little camera.

Sony cyber shot W830
Camera is ok bit fiddly as in button bit small but then it is a small camera no bigger than a credit card. Picture quality is good for what it is power button could have protruded a bit more but I guess it's keeping in line with the contour of the camera. Would I use this camera every day or take it with me? Probably not. I really should have bought a better oneb

Very pleased.
Bought it last minute before a trip to Rome, as the old one wouldn't charge anymore. This Sony made a great job! Good quality pictures (panoramic too!), battery lasted more than 2 days, with over 150 pictures per day taken. Sure there are much better cameras on the market, but this compact one does what it is supposed to do and in an easy and very efficient way.

Old is better
I bought this as a replacement to my old sony camera but do not like it at all. I don't think the features are as good or as clear to use as my old one and i have found the slightest movement makes the picture blurred. I have now had my old camera mended and passed this one on to a family member as they did not have one they haven't told me what they think yet.

Best pocket camera
This is the second one I have had the first giving about 5 years of superb photos. Use in auto modes and just shoot and go. If you feel more adventurous set up one of the simple manual modes giving you the opportunity to take photos in almost any situation from dark to bright light or moving to stationary. A great every day camera with lots of added extras too.

good pictures
with ISO 3200 it gave vivid colours indoors without a flash. The wide angle 25 mm gave good scenic shots. The menu was quite simple to navigate and had useful features. And it is very easy to fit in your pocket. One battery charge lasted long enough for 500 10-Megapixel pictures. (the menu lets you choose the sensor resolution, with a maximum of 20 Mega-pixels).

Neat little package...
Nice little camera. Haven't had a chance to test to it's full potential yet (i.e. program mode) as i have just been using on intelligent auto. Handy to just slip in your pocket... it's tiny. I would suggest charging the battery for about 16 hours for the first charge as i found the 115 mins stated in the manual insufficient to last longer than a couple of days.

My wife was due to go on holiday and needed a camera.I did some research and found this Sony camera.What made me buy this camera was the compact size that was easy to put in her hand bag and all the good reviews that other members of the public gave this Sony camera.I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a compact camera that takes stunning pictures.

SMALL CAMERA WITH BIG CAMERA TECHNOLOGY
Bought as a special birthday present for my wife and as her first venture into digital photography. Already she has found it easy to use and her first downloaded pictures have proved to be of high quality. I was a little surprised that the battery and memory card catches etc seemed a little flimsy but so far no problems with it. An excellent compact camera.

The camera is the best camera i have ever bought, the customer service was really good! Had a laugh with the staff behind the counter and although the store was busy at the time i got my camera within 5 minutes! I wouldnt have got a memory card if the cashier didnt ask me if i wanted one so i am glad that they have me that opportunity! Very happy, thankyou.
