Great pocket size camera
I lost my 7 year old Sony camera and this is just as good, with even more features (I have yet to use them all!), smaller and a great picture quality. Linking it to the PC proved simple. It fits into a pocket. Gone is the old lens cover replaced with a shutter, so it seems pretty robust too. Only issue is they do not mention in the description that you MUST buy a memory card/stick to go with it. It won't even hold one picture without additional memory.

Fantastic Camera from Sony
What a fantastic camera. 30 x zoom with perfect picture, flip up screen for selfies/vlogging , amazing video quality,downloadable apps, use your phone as a remote control,wifi,charge direct with usb lead.. the list is endless and amazes me! And its all packed into the smallest cybershot camera in the world!

My Dream Camera
I love this camera, it's affordable, I love the camera screen moves, the quality of the photos are just what I was looking for. Can't wait to take more photos! Only problem I had was buying a case for it, Argos didn't have the best choices for it. I found the settings hard to understand, trying to turn off the 3 second count down button took me ages to find it! (It automatically switched on when looking at yourself on the camera screen)

Brilliant camera

Brilliant camera
I purchased this Sony Cybershot HX80 to replace my HX50, and I am delighted with it. It's very compact so it's great to take everywhere. It's easy to use with an in-built guide to all it's functions. Like all the Cybershots the camera has a good size LCD screen for it's size. For me though the best thing about the camera is the additon of a pop up view finder. It makes taking photographs in bright light a doddle. With a 30 x optical zoom you can't really go wrong with this little camera.

Poor picture and quality camera
Bad picture and video quality. My cheap mobile make better vido and photo. I tried with different exposure, light, options etc, but still poor picture quality. I had to return it.

A great travel camera
While the sensor in this camera is only on a par with high-end smartphones, it is paired with a 30x optical zoom, excellent image stabilisation and the superb XAVC S video format which delivers amazingly sharp videos. It's not great in low light without the flash but Sony's multi-frame processing in Intelligent Auto mode can produce impressive results. The viewfinder is a invaluable when taking photos in bright sunlight. The menus could be better laid out but you get used to them.

Amazing Camera!!
I can not fault this camera one bit! the picture quality is amazing, we use it for vlogging and for recording videos at work. It works fantastically and is so so easy to use, you just point and click record and done! A lot of my friends have asked me which camera I bought and was it worth it for the price and I would definitely say yes! Not to much money but enough for a great camera!

Sony dose it again
The camera is really user friendly but you do need to play about with the auto focus settings but it's cracking low light and a great little camera for it's money,especially if you want to Vlogg.

A top camera for a modest price
I was looking for a mix of features with this camera and for the price this was the only option. HD videos are excellent, pictures are clear and quick, syncing to my phone is a doddle and the viewfinder flipping to allow 'selfies' is great. The 30x Zoom is yet to be fully tested but it adds to this camera being a real good all-rounder unparalleled at its price.

fantastic compact camera
+ve: 30x zoom and keeps good picture quality flip up screen for selfies to show you were on the family holiday too! fantastic inside shots by merging with/without flash viewfinder really good when you can't see the screen can enhance pics in the camera -ve: bit heavy but hey you've got a 30x zoom lens need to manually set the flash but then it's on top away from fingers with all the functionality, quite heavy on memory and had to buy a bigger SD card Really great camera!

Bought this camera to take on a long weekend away. Excellent close up pictures which when visiting a Safari park is sometimes the only way to see the animals up close. Was a real godsend and would recommend to anyone. J

Fantastic images, simple point and shoot camera
I did a lot of research before choosing the HX80 and I am so happy with my conclusion. It is a simple point and shoot camera with incredible picture quality and great features. It is so easy to use, it is intuitive! The NFC and wifi is incredibly helpful when travelling. Argos could not be beaten on price, and the reserve and collect function was so easy to use. Highly recommend!

Outmost outstanding camera
Outmost outstanding camera I have ever used....the zoom is inexplicably the best ever. Night mode with the right settings cannot be compared too. I highly recommend this product for those who are proper photographers

Compact
I've only had this camera a short while and so far it has performed well. What attracted me to buy this model was the electronic view finder, a feature that makes composing photos in bright light much easier.

Too small for big fingers
Camera works well but I think it was built for small hands as the buttons to adjust settings etc. are too fiddly for anyone with medium or large hands. I haven't used it much so far but the picture quality appears much better than my previous Nikon when using the zoom.

Fantastic Compact Camera with amazing zoom
The way the zoom handles is amazing, even if you're a little shaky, it straightens the shot up for you. And the features are endless, the only reason I didn't give a full score for features is because there isn't an option to take Macro Shots. You can take a Macro Shot but you have to be in automatic mode, so it can take a little while for it to register as close up shot. However don't let that put you off buying this camera, its so compact it fits in my pocket

Picture perfect!
Chose this Sony camera for duel screen and all it's other features! I's a good size camera, not too big. Can't wait to take it in my travels with its action shot and selfies.

Love how the screen flips up so it's great for vlogging, the video quality is great as you're able to get the lens to focus on only you and blur out any imperfections, its a good size so great for travelling!
