Bought this to bring much needed sound quality to a Panasonic TV. Really easy to set up and pretty unobtrusive. Only disappointment is that you can’t use it to play music if the TV is on but muted

Sonos sound
Nice and slimline & sound quality is excellent. Linked up to Google home & can use voice control to operate volume on tv & ask Google questions via sound bar..Great value for money

Great compact sound solution
My first Sonos product to go with a new Samsung 43 inch Tv. Wanted a smaller sound bar that would fit neatly under the new TV. This certainly fitted the brief. Set up is straightforward using the app and fun too. Wife thought I had lost the plot as I walked around the living room waving my phone around as funny noises emulated. This is necessary for Sonos to adapt to your room shape. As well as TV , Alexa playback ability is also useful. Sound quality is very good considering the size.

Sonos does it again!
Firstly, I cannot actually believe there are negative reviews regarding this speaker! I have this set up with two Sonos Ones as rear speakers, and the sound is superb! You can crank up the volume and there is never distortion, and the bass is more than enough for me! When watching a 4K movie or series, this is when the set up becomes even more alive! Highly Highly recommend this speaker! And any other Sonos product for that matter. Yes pricey,(if not on sale;) but you get what you pay for! :)

My sonos beam is sleek and compact
Bought this product for my husband for Christmas. It was so quick and easy to set up. We downloaded the sonos app to our phones so we can control the sound etc from our phone as that is basically the remote. You can also use voice control too. The sound quality is excellent.

STYLISH AND COMPACT
Fabulous sound and great price I would recommend to anyone who wants great sound but I would also recommend getting the wireless speakers to achieve surround sound and trust me the films sound fantastic and my husband loves watching Sports mainly football with this system. We got this on sale with the wireless speakers as a bundle to replace our old LG sound bar and the Sonos does not disappoint its easy to set up and control and the app has any help should you need any in all ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Looks nice but .....
I previously had a Bose mini. I liked the design and it had both good & bad review but so did the Bose sound bar. It was easy to set up & looked nice. The sound is good until you turn it up & the base goes tinny. I chose it because it had built in Alexa etc but haven’t bothered setting it up as I was really disappointed with the sound. It’s not a blue tooth speaker like the Bose and music can only be played through the Sonos app not directly from iTunes I will be returning this product

Sonos Beam limited Alexa multi-room music
As you will probably see from other reviews, a great sounding speaker with great features (Alexa and AirPlay 2, ticked the boxes for me). Unfortunately, the devil is in the details, and the Alexa functionality is limited for Alexa Multi-room Music (MRM) groups. Basically, it can only join MRM groups with other Sonos speakers, NOT with any Alexa Echo device. Deal breaker for me, so returned (thank you Argos for great returns policy). If MRM not important to you, it’s great.

Overpriced
Sound is good don't get me wrong but not worth £400 over TV speakers - I've got an LG 47" Smart TV that's about 5 years old - the only difference is the bass. I'm a bit obsessed with my TV sound quality - if you want good surround sound then buy surround sound speakers simple as that. A soundbar cannot deliver that. Best way to describe it is like being offered a ride in a Ferrari and ending up driving a 3 wheeler with go faster stripes. Sorry Sonos. You're still better than Bose though lol.

Excellent but expensive
Fiddle to setup all the apps and do the tuning, looks good, sounds amazing, needs more sub bass, but generally sounds fantastic for its size! Expensive... but loving it !! Also made a review on Dubious Engineering on YouTube if you want to go look for a video review...

Love it! What a bit of kit!
Has massively improved the sound and therefore our enjoyment of films and normal TV. It’s replaced my Alexa dot and two Sonos speakers in the front room meaning I can use them elsewhere, double win.

Stunning
Just buy it. It's that good. Get a couple of 1 Sl's for surround system too. Pair it with spotify/apple music then ask Alexa to play your tunes. She turns the TV off/on and volume too. Buy it.

Easy to set up and connect to my tv and Spotify.
Looks good not to big and doesn’t need an unsightly bass box. Easy to set up if you have the correct type hdmi output on your tv, nor sure how you’d connect it if you didn’t so check this before you buy.

Awesome Soundbar
Fantastic soundbar with amazing sound. Very easy to set up. Only one slight snag and that is the HDMI lead comes out very easily which means no sound!! Also, the Google Assistant can only turn the TV on / off and adjust the volume. Add a couple of Sonos Ones as rear surrounds and you have a cracking system.

I'm sure it's a great product when it works..
Set up using Sonos app.. Worked all of a day then stopped working and then sound would come through for a second then cut out repeatedly. Went onto forums and turns out a common fault. Tried all the answers given by Sonos and other users and still same result. Splashed out on 4k Hdmi and still the same, and more money wasted. Returned immediately and refund given.

It is a very good product and works perfectly for surround sound, however if you need to put it up on the wall you do need to buy the mount separately as doesn’t have screw holes you can hook the speaker on to.

Sound doesn’t match its looks
After already owning a Sonos 5 and Sonos 1 and being blown away by their sound quality, when my Yamaha sound system failed after 10 years I had no hesitation in buying Beam. Sadly I was so disappointed I have returned it and bought a Sky Soundbox which is vastly superior. This has damaged my belief in Sonos brand

Good quality and much improvement on the sound from our TV. Evens out volumes and much clearer sound. Took a little bit of time to figure out the best way to set it up but now we have we couldn't go back to not having one. Having built in alexa is also fun, and useful if you want to go hands free for a while, e.g. to switch to music while you're cooking or cleaning.

Bose v Sonos
Bought to replace a Bose Solo 5 which frankly was disappointing with only two speakers This is much better and provides the depth and dynamics I was after. Add to that the ability to expand the system with more speakers but at this price it will be awhile. Bought on 12 months interest free to lessen the pain.
