I have to say that the Shure Drum Mics are about the best that you can get. You get a great sound and are perfect for the studio or the road!! The SM57 Mics provide a very crisp sound that will cut any drum through any type of mix. They are very versatile and can be used for snares, toms, overheads and even vocal mics. They also are relatively light so you won't have to worry about your overhead stands falling over. The Beta 52 Mic is the cream of the crop, recognized through out all of the music industry. It gives you so much head room with the amount of SPL's it can handle, up to 130 dB!! Turn up the Beta 52 and it still is has a ton of punch without feedback! The only downfall is the A56D drum-mounts. They sometimes can be hard to position well on the drums since they are not flexible. They do however hold up very well to the abuse they take because of their sturdy solid design. Overall for the price of this package you will defiantly get your monies worth and much more!! ... More

These mics are top of the line! The beta bass drum mic is perfect! I wish they made more high end mic packages... It's a lot of money but you won't be disappointed!

This kit is absolutely amazing. The Beta 52 is amazing without any EQ'ing, plug it in, it's ready. The SM57's are great too, I have a Beta 57 on the snare, so I have an extra SM57, but the greatest part is that it is an INSTRUMENT mic. Not only does it mic the drums, it can mic any instrument, Therefor this pack is also a versatile one. Looking to mic drums? Buy this kit.

Just bought this mic pack from my favorite place, GUITAR CENTER of Medford, OR!! I just plugged them in and have been playing them for hours today. The Beta 52 kick mic is as advertised and just may be the best in the business. The 57s are good all around mics and cover toms great. I am using others to round out my drum sound but find these to be outstanding... Great !!! (Thanks, Nick)

I've been playing drums for about 17 years,I've been doing alot of searching, read lots of reviews, then finally bought it. I used to own a CAD drums kit, but This SHURE DRUMS KIT is exactly what I've waiting for, the kick punch of Beta52 will stop your heart beat for a second. Anyways, I recommend every drummer to try it, you will not be disappointed.

This drum mic pack is truly amazing, you get the BEST kick mic on the market (the BETA 52) along w/3 SM57's which are some of the BEST dynamic mics around since 1957... that makes them 51 years old and they still ROCK! I know people who have had these for over 20 years w/out a problem. These mics are TOP of the LINE and they are worth EVERY penny, so save up and get em... You will love em.

These drum mics are amazing. They are very durable and sound amazing. Plus, just look at the price. For the money these mics cannot be beat. They are sweet sounding especially when recording and no feedback is present. definitely a useful mic set. I would recommend it to anyone looking for drum mics.

My drummer uses these mics when we record, and let me tell you, unless you're ready to spend money through the roof, this is best set of mics your going to find. They are so crisp and clean, I can't believe they are under 500. the large beta mic pics up the bass drum perfect, and the 57's are great for the rest of the kit. Go for it, you will not be disapointed. these are great mics!

I know there are other brands of mics that are more "high end" for recording drums with, but as a drummer AND or the recording end, in most of my recording sessions shure mics had always been used. And of course with the recording in if you know what you're doing during the mixing process, the sound comes out great as it had on recording I had done on the drums as the drummer. I trust this series of mics hands down.

Pretty standard drum kit mic set up for both studio & live. I tend to prefer an i5 for snare, but the 57 is OK there as well. I've always liked the thump of the beta 52a on kick - so this made a great way to get the kick and some additional 57's - even if they aren't always going to be used on the drum kit. The clamps are well made and work fine, but judging from other folks sets, are a bit of a pain to take apart enough to keep neatly organized between uses. Not sure there's an ideal solution for tom clamps - but these are quite good. ... More

Bought this kit which came with a small boom stand, 1 kick Shure Beta mike and 3 SM57's plus microphone holders, 1 reducer from 5/8 to 3/8, soft case, 4 cables and 3 shure drum clips in which you mount each of the SM57s to your drum rims (see photos). These are fully adjustable. In my case I had to purchase an additional SM57. I was able to easily mike 2 tom toms with 1 x SM57 which provided excellent clarity.

3 SM57's? AND a beta 52 kick drum mic?! Hello! This is a great little package! Very versatile for lots and lots of different applications. Who doesn't use 57's? The drum rim mounting system is very well designed and built solidly but apart from live applications not much use in the studio as it can damage the tone of the drums. Lovely little molded plastic case for the kit to sit in between uses. Very happy with mine.

Due to covid and the increased works demands from it, it has taken me awhile to find time to use these mics and I can finally say they are fantastic. The kick drum mic especially. The 3 57's too are good as expected but that kick drum mic is a beauty. Great case they come in too. Highly recommmend product .

I bought this kit to record my 5 piece band. We use these mics in some combination for everything. Drums, guitar cabs, bass cabs, vocals, the sm57s especially are incredibly versatile. The kit offers amazing value and a super handy carrying case. Fantastic purchase that will never let you down at a phenomenal price.

For anyone interested this is the best all around drum mic kit, hands down. Nothing on the market can touch the versatility of this kit. Not only can you use it for drums, but the kick mic works great for bass guitar miking and SM57 is tried and true for guitar cabs.

With the free accessories and no tax payboo card this is the best price for the mics. Plus the added knowledge that BHphoto is an official Shure dealer gives me piece of mind that these aren't counterfeits. Search counterfeit Shure mics online and you'll find you can't even trust Amazon with all the random sellers storing bad mics in the warehouse.

I love a lot about these. The mounting hardware is sturdy, the soft case is great for transport, and the mics sound great. The good thing about using SM57s is that they'll never go out of style. Musicians and studio techs have been using them for decades. These are truly future-proof in a way that only Shure mics can be.

The beta 52 sounds great, right out of the box. Just about everyone knows what a Sm57 is. The 57's took a little adjustment, physical location, gain, etc....but sound pretty darn good. Versatile mics that I can use for anything. The clamps actually convert to cymbal stand mounts. They don't have to clamp to the drum rim. All metal construction, with no plastic. I like them so far.
