Surprising Quality At Such A Low Cost
You've probably spent hundreds on a single gooseneck condenser mic before. I know I have. Recent events had me shopping for a pair of them with a budget of $0. Decided to take a chance on the Samson CM20. I am very impressed and it didn't hurt my wallet. Several different presenters used the podium since I installed the CM20's. The clarity and quality has been on par with mics costing four times as much.

Mic is Perfect for Our Needs
The mic is perfect the podium we have. I just had to install the holder with the supplied screws after drilling a hole. The mic is adjustable for any speaker. It could use a better instruction manual for installation purposes, however.

Bang for the buck!
We have installed several of these in local churches. GREAT sounding microphone for the money. Rejects feedback. Looks good. We often just slip it into a standard microphone clip which is screwed onto a pulpit-mounted flange, rather than drill a large hole in a heirloom pulpit. Looks good! Thin and inconspicuous.

Does the job at a fraction of the price
We have about 10 of these now in a variety of venues on a college campus. All are used in reinforcement applications on sound systems ranging in quality from bargain basement to top of the line, in venues from 100 seats to well over 2000. These mic's sound good, sometimes great, never amazing. They are a fraction of the price of any competitors, and we have had no reliability issues - that said if one does fail, the price is low enough to just buy a replacement. We put them on podiums and on panel discussions.
