JVC XX Series On-Ear Durable & Comfortable Headphone
Great quality, Good sound!
The design has a nice black finish, the headphones sound is loud enough for you to not hear any background noise. However when turn onto its highest volume the sound can be heard outside the headphones so people can hear who are close by. The comfort of headphones is okay but can be uncomfortable on ears after a certain time. The durability of the product is very strong and the headphones are thick including the cable so no need to worry on if it would last long. Overall this product is good

Love headphones amazing quality for price
Love These headphones! I did have a pair of wireless headphones for Xmas £50!! but they were rubbish sound, volume didt go high enough for me and the charge didt last long either and going from room to room I'd lose signal.So decided to purchase these on recommendations online and YouTube, and go back to wired headphones! Best thing is the Volume only needs to be on mark 3 and it's loud enough for my audiobooks! Only bad point it slips off my ear while laying down,but that's just my niggle.

Not as explosive as I thought
I bought this product as I currently own the same branded 'In-ear' headphones. I was a bit disappointed with the over head headphones as I thought I would get the same 'thumping' Bass sound that the smaller 'In-ear' ones provide and which I love to hear. Don't get me wrong they do produce a decent sound but I personally think that they do not warrant the price tag being asked and I'd recommend buying the smaller and much cheaper 'In-ear' headphones if you want a big Bass sound.

Amazing
Bought these headphones about 2 weeks ago and almost haven't been able to take them off, for the price the sound quality is amazing with a mixture of clean crisp vocal quality and a smooth yet heavy bass, my partner has also informed me that my voice quality through the microphone was great even with large amounts of background noise in public places. At first the only issue I could find was they are slightly tight but quickly loosened up as they were worn in

Looks great, good sound, just a bit clunky
I wanted over ear headphones that more or less cancelled out the noise of my commute, had good sound, a microphone and were reasonably priced. I have ticked all those boxes. Issue is they are quite wide, so putting the hood of my coat over them can be a bit fiddly. I suppose its the classic of cheap, good sound, 100% comfortable: pick two. They do look great though it has to be said. Better than Sony equivalent though in my opinion.

Brilliant!
I purchased these as a replacement set and I'm so happy with them They have great sound and volume, good for those who like their music loud. Blocks out outside noise well. Comfort is good, the ear pads are a good size though uncomfortable if worn too long. Wire is long & thick so don't expect any breakage any time soon. Also works as a headset for my Xbox one, providing clear sound. Brilliant purchase, so happy with them.

JVC Xtreme Xplosives Headphones
The purchase of my headphones was pleasant. The customer service was friendly and helpful. He gave me advice on what headphones to get, and on the cover. However, on plugging my headphones in, I found one ear was faulty, I know that the faulty headphones was not the fault of Argos and on taking the headphones back I found they did have a faulty connection. I received the same great customer service in returning the goods

Great Sound Quality
The sound quality is great. It has a useful feature button on the cord, works with my mobile phone allowing stop, start when listening to media. Having the button on the cord is handy when out and about. The style of the headphones is not to my liking, i can handle bulky but these are designed to sit far away from the head on the sides. When I wear them on my head it looks odd, not stylish or retro.

Xtreme, Xplosive is an extreme xageration!
The only thing I found extreme about the headphones is the look which is great. But the volume was too low and the bass almost non existent. I really wanted over ear headphones because I found the in ear's too unreliable and break down quickly , but I'm very disappointed. I brought them back and ended up buying in ear headphones again which delivered a much better bass and overall sound.

Great headphones with serious bass
Funnily enough, I am wearing these right now as I write this review. To subvert a phrase, the bass is the bomb. These are light, comfortable and the bass is solid while the treble is real sharp and clear above the mid range, making music "super natural". The bonus of this model is that it has a microphone so it's perfect for smart phones. My iPhone 5S has never sounded so good.

Jvc extreme explosive
I plug this to my Pixel 2 mobile and cut grass all day long with moderate level of volume. I don't hear machinery much. I hear instruments & voices ,I have never heard before. It gets bit tight on ears after long use ,but I think the reason for that ,because it doesn't cover all your ear.Good bass too. Buy it if you don't want to spend lots of money and good quality sound.

Ok headphones
These are cheap and feel it, sound is ok but for me they were not at all comfortable, cable seems to be good quality far better than some £200 headphones I own but that’s really the only good thing about them, muffled sound and even my 12 year old daughter didn’t want them so the have needed up in the loft never to be seen or heard again I suspect.

Surprised !
Usually go for more expensive headphones but after breaking a wire in a sennheiser set on a Sunday thought I'd grab whatever Argos had in stock, to sum up good volume better than most this price, reasonable sound definition, good bass, good build ,tight headband if wearing for extended periods, for the money I doubt you'll find something better .

Heads up
I am happy with the headphones they are sturdy but comfortable (I have history of breaking headphones!). The red lead and details are stylish and mean less likly to loose then (I have history of looking headphones!). Sound quality are good (I like it loud!). Slightly more expensive than I would normally pay but worth it...

Average sound quality
Muffled high and midrange on these headphones and a bass with no definition.In reality,the bass drowns out the rest of the tracks you listen to.If you are looking for a balanced sound quality,look elsewhere.If heavy bass is your thing,then these maybe just you cup of tea.They are far too unrefined for me.

hurts your ears after a while
i ordered the over ears ones as i am deaf and need the ear pieces to go over my whole ear. i was disappointed to find that this was untrue and only goes on your ears. swapped for the other version of these and they were the same. they also hurt your ears after a while and can be uncomfortable.

Chunky and funky
I'm showing my age with that title, the headphones are lightweight with padding in the headband. The sound quality is great. JVC are a quality manufacturer at a great price. I have the Bluetooth and wired earbuds as well. All the range are great, buy these you won't be disappointed.

Painful
There's no doubting the sound quality, however they become very painful on ear after a short while. Tried to return them but Argos refused because I should have done my research beforehand?? Pretty sure had they stated on the box they cause discomfort I wouldn't have purchased them!

Great looking pair of headphones.
I was looking for a new pair of over-ear headphones for my general day-to-day life (gym, travelling etc). I happened upon these on the website and after reading most of the reviews was impressed with what other customers had said. Bought a pair immediately. Was totally worth it.

My 8 year old son loves the sound, comfort & style
My 8 year old son is never without his headphones when on his Ipad.& listens to all his favourite things. Sound quality is fantastic plus we can't hear any traces of what he is listening to. They are very comfortable and look very stylish. Very well worth the money.

Bought for volume level
I bought these for my husband in the hope that he would be able to turn them up, as the ones I had were not loud enough. These are excellent and he can use them with my kindle to watch films on the plane. I also bought another pair for myself as they were so good.

The over the ear phones was not very good
The ear pads were very hard when over the ears pity that could have been softer instead of the ones fitted I would not recommend these because of this fault I purchased a new pair and thy were 100% a big difference in the comfort when waring them

Headphones
Brought for my son who loves his music headphones was perfect up to date design comfortable to wear and a resonable price got them when they were in the sale they were that good that his dad wanted a pair but got different colour so they knew which was which.

Ideal for a 9-year-old
Previous reviews had said the headphones were a little small, so that suited me. They were a present for my 9-year-old grandson and the size is ideal. They're adjustable to fit an adult as well if needed. The sound is good and he is very pleased with them.
