Snug fits, saves buying a new headset
After upgrading from an iPhone 6 to an 11Pro, the mini-phono plug is gone, so this neatly adapts my old lightweight headset, saves buying a new one till I actually need it.

So far, so good!
Works as advertised. Used to connect Sennheiser earphones to iPhone to listen to music. Have read a number of bad reviews of it - primarily that it breaks early and easily. But, have used with good success so far.

Exactly what I needed
This was an actual Apple product as advertised. I needed to play a couple songs on my iPhone X through a sound system and this little badboy worked just fine. Also B&H got it to me earlier than promised. Im happy with the product and the service.

Very delicate cord
I was expecting it to be the same as the adapter that came with my Square chip reader, but the cord is as thin as angel hair pasta. I expected more from Apple, not less.

I HATE THAT I HAVE TO EVEN USE THESE. BAD APPLE BAD
Im glad I could purchase them from you and hate that I have to have them in the first place. Apple has done a great disservice to consumers in order to save so little space with regard to their gadgets most consumers could care less. For an audio professional it created one more thing to have to carry AND lose as this is the reason for this purchase. They work as expected and that is not the issue, the issue is having to have them at all. Not happy with Apple.

Expensive but needed
I wanted to give this adapter a one star because I resent the pricing established for this much needed item. Wishing Apple would just supply us with 5 of these when purchasing a phone needing this. A necessity for iPhone 7plus
Apple keeps insisting in having proprietary connections, but the reality is that most of the accessories out there don't care about that. With this I can connect headphones or mics. It works, but did we really needed it?

It works surprisingly well
I listened to both the lightning connector Airbuds and the 3.5mm jack Earbuds using the adapter. There is not a significant difference on audio quality between them - the remarkable small DAC in there somewhere works well. Earbud controls also work. I have found using Siri a little cumbersome but it's a welcome functionality when the controller gets frozen on the slopes! Great price and place to purchase
I recently got a new iphone7 and as most people know, there is no way to plug-in earphones without one of this. One came with the phone, but I kept forgetting to take it out of my backpack, so I decided to buy another to keep in my purse. Solution to a problem nobody was looking for
Why remove the headphone jack. If that was important at least give us a dongle that has quality electronics, at least equal to the DAC/amp that was in the iPhone 6/6S.
