I'm so pleased I bought one of these eventually, I didn't think I needed one, how wrong I was! I use it mainly for adding to my shopping lists and things to do lists, and for listening to the radio. I love it..

Bought as a gift for my daughter who loves it!
Bought as a gift and my daughter loves it. Very easy to set up and connect. Occasionally gets things wrong but still is brilliant. Very easy ordering from Argos on via the app, available straight away. Perfect!

Its a good device
Very responsive, works well, and fits in well into my room. The only downside is that some questions it doesn't seen to understand and answer very well, many of them are responded with sorry i dont understand.

Fab little gadget
Got an alexa for my son. He loves it and so do i. I live it that i brought another one for my self . So easy to set up just download the alexa app on your phone and follow the instuctions. I use alexa everyday.

Great little gadget for any room
Great gadget to have around the house. So useful for handsfree help! And surprisingly fun entertainment features. We now want to get a couple more for other rooms in the house - useful for lazy teenagers too !

Brilliant results and responses
Great product, went for the dot due to the size as I didnt want to have the full size model. It gives brilliant responses. Just bear in mind you need to have the alexa app on all devices for the best responses.

Easy to set up and use
Impressed with how easy to set up even for a techno phobe !!! Alexa a little frustrating at first but great once you learn how to phrase requests and love being able to contact friends and family through it.

Building my army
This is the 4th Alexa in our house and I love it to bits. I have a number of automatic routines set up so I always get the I information and entertainment I need. Will soon have one in every room of the house.

Great bit of kit!
The speaker is actually quite loud and the microphones are responsive. Already had 2 dots before this and for the price are well worth the money. Have them linked to smart plugs and lights and works everytime!

Disappointing
Bought this for our son’s birthday. And he can not use it. I was completely unaware that we would have to upgrade our subscription to allow use of more than one Echo product. To be honest it seems scandalous

I think these are better than the Google didn't have that much trouble to set up and the music is cheaper through Amazon if you went through Google Play it was £10 a month and the Amazon is cheaper than that

Fab in the bedroom
Already have an Alexa in the living room but wanted something a little smaller for the bedroom, this is perfect great to be able to set an alarm each morning and just the right level of sound for the bedroom.

The Echo Dot is really very easy to install, great for answering questions instead of reaching for the laptop and fun to play with. Ask Alexa to sing you a Christmas carol, or any songs and what about a joke?

We bought this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it well worth every penny and thinking of buying another one for ourselves,she just can’t stop dancing to her favourite songs

Makes my life easier!
Brilliant product! I bought for Christmas for my 10 year old, he can listen to music, set an alarm, I love it as I can “ drop in” and call him down for tea, or call his bedroom wherever iam from my phone.

Really easy to use especially with the app on your phone. Great for the whole family. My little boy has it in his room when he goes to bed as the music helps him sleep better. Good quality and great sound.

Great bit of kit!
I have Sonos speakers, and Hive heating and lights. I am able to control them all easily with my Echo Dot. And whilst it’s only a small speaker it actually gives off quite a reasonable quality of sound.

More than I expected
